The quality is definitely on the higher end of these type of inserts. Also, when i get really lonely i sit and stare into the flames and ponder a life less lonely. The flames really help with that. Definitely will be buying it again.

The unit is beautiful,very sleek looking and was easy to install. the problem for the $$$$'s there is little heat. As per their statement that is will heat a 400 sq.ft. room, not true.

I am a custom home builder. Our client requested this Fireplace for a stone wall accent. I told him that I haven't never used an electric Fireplace of good quality and discouraged him from buying it. He ordered it against my advice and wow am I glad. This thing is amazing. We've bought 4 more in different homes since.

This fireplace looks nice and was easy to install. However, we have had a major issue with it that the makers are unable to address. As many people would do, we have our fireplace mounted below our TV in our living room. However, the major issue is that the remote for the fireplace changes the mode on our sound bar for the TV which causes a lot of problems with getting the sound bar back. The remote for the TV then turns on and off the fireplace and messes with it. We contacted customer service for the fireplace, who said there is nothing they can do and the only option would be to somehow change the frequency/reprogram our TV, which isn't even doable. Naturally this is frustrating, for a $1000 fireplace, it shouldn't use the same IR codes or frequencies as very common TVs that people are likely to put next to them. We shouldn't have to purchase a new TV or drop more money on a universal remote because of this oversight by the fireplace makers.

this fireplace is just gorgeous! We just did a remodel and have TV on top with tile surround all of it. Looks just great! It works well visually but the heat it puts out is def lacking so that's why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. We live in FL so its not a huge deal. But was hoping to help supplement those few cold days we have here with this plus having it look awesome. Don't count on this for heat! We have an electric fireplace in RV that works so well we don't even have to turn our regular heat on when it is in the 40's. This one would never e able to do that. However, I mostly purchased this for the size and look more so. I've finally added some photos for you. So far after almost 2 years, it is still working great!

Product was delivered with a deep scratch, both seller and Dimplex refused to compensate the damage , I had to install a defective item. Extremely disappointed

Renovating the entire downstairs and going for a bit of a modern look. So, out with the old fireplace and in with some new technology! I narrowed my choices down to this one and the Napoleon Alluravision. I read and watched numerous reviews and comparisons. The general consensus being that the Dimplex doesn’t have as many bells & whistles but it’s flame quality is substantially better than Napoleon. That piqued my interest. I bought both so that I could compare them first hand. While I agree the flame is more realistic on the Dimplex, it was ruined because the LEDs across the bottom are SO bright, even on their lowest setting, they wash out the flame display. Or maybe the flame display is too dim? What a shame. So, I’m keeping the Naploleon. On a side note, I asked other ppl here if they have the same issue with the overly bright LEDs, and everyone that responded said their Dimplex was fine. So, maybe I got a bad one?

We have had this fireplace since 2019. Looks great but the blower is worthless. If you actually need extra heat in a room, it will not heat a room no matter what the size. We have it in a 300 sq foot room. In the basement and need to have a space heater. Buy something else for heat
