Best PTSD workbook so far
In my experience of PTSDself help books. This by far is the best. It's so well organized and written. The information is incredibly helpful and so many elements of PTSD and helpful healing techniques are covered . The short chapters with reflection questions are well done. I find it very approachable and easy to work through.

Meaty and Impactful
Each section felt as if it were a session with a professional. The tipping point for me was to rewrite my own narrative— abused by the man who I felt was my soul mate vs. managing to be in integrity and maintain a loving, connective heart despite circumstances. There are some real gems in this book to help clean up the residue of PTSD that served us in our time of need.

Good book to work on recovery and healing

Practical and Wise; Tender and Compassionate
I loved this books as a Therapist, but even more so as human being who is healing from her own stories. Schwartz did an incredible job sharing easy, but meaningful activities, questions and tools to guide the reader in growth. This is a book I know I will refer to often as well as recommend to my clients.

This book is for clients and providers.
This Growth Guidebook somehow connected to deep emotions from the first chapter! The authors authentic compassion comes through her words. I’ve worked in the mental health field since the early 90’s. I have been a therapist found client. Believe me when I say Dr Schwartz is a skilled, compassionate, knowledgeable therapist! In this book she shares her years of experience in yoga, somatic psychology, EMDR, relational therapy and parts work! I especially love how she provides space to write your own thoughts. This book is an important addition to any library whether you are a mental health provider or client!

Super helpful to solidify building resources while in therapy
My therapist recommended the book soon after it came out and I cannot say enough good about it. I have been reading this alongside EMDR therapy and it has been such a great tool. The author has many resources for a person to utilize, complimenting resources that my therapist has taught me, and the book has helped me to solidify which ones works best for me in my practice. I can read it in small chunks and share with my therapist weekly what stood out.

Great resource
I purchased this book after attending a training with Dr. Schwartz on trauma. This is a great tool to use with clients who have experienced trauma. A couple of my clients have already purchased and find it very helpful as we work through the chapters and exercises together.
