I have mostly had experience with doterra oils and while I love them, they are super expensive and I wanted a comparable option that wouldn't cost a fortune. Edens Garden is seriously such an amazing company. Since this purchase, I have ordered at least $150 more worth the oils straight from their website. Their lavender is my favorite. I put it in the diffuser at night at it helps me sleep. The eucalyptus mixed with the peppermint in an aromatherapy inhaler is amazing for when I have a stuff nose. The tea tree is great for ear infections (you just put it on a cotton ball and place it in your ear) NEVER place oils IN your ear though, also make sure to dilute the oils with a carrier oil, which they also have a selection of. One of the main reasons I like this company is the owner provides GC/MS testing to show the purity of the oils! The very big MLM companies don't do that, so you don't know what your getting with them other than their promise. Oh another tip on usage, the lemon and the wild orange smell so fresh and clean that a little trick I like to do is put a few drops in my vacuum filter or on my wool dryer balls and they leave behind the most amazing fresh smell. The bottles say for external use only but don't let anyone trick you into thinking that means that they aren't safe. The company puts that on the bottle to be responsible and also for liability reasons. The oils are pure enought to take internally put you should never do that without the supervision and guidance of a trained aromatherapist. Essential oils are very very powerful. One more little tip...Edens Garden now offers free shipping on their website. They also have a gigantic selection to choose from. I recommend buying direct from them. Although buying these from amazon has been just as good quality wise.

So light and soft smelling! Beautiful aroma that is good for anyone sensitive to harsh smelling oils. I will be purchasing all my oils from Edens from now on- packaging is nice and quality products. Young Living & DōTERA oils are insanely expensive but I have found oils that are as good but even better. This Top 6 Eden's Garden Set is the very best price out there! You really can't beat it!! You can create your own 6 set on E.G.'s website, but it's over $40! All the oils are top notch they smell fabulous and you can feel safe using them knowing they are GS/MS tested. Out of all the oils on the market E.G. has the very best presentation and best looking labels. They come in a beautiful box with decorative insert, flip the decorative card around and it describes all of the oils inside. It makes getting your oils exciting and fun. It also comes with a brochure of 150 different ways to use your oils, awesome! There is only thing they could do to make it better and that is to put a label on the top of the oils so when you open your E.O. box you can see exactly what each is instead of having to look for it but other than that you can't ask for anything better!! This is a good sampler to start from. I am using them for Aromatherapy. The blends (not any specific one, just as a general usage) are not my favorite; I find them overly strong even with just a few drops. Adding them with the single oils, though, gives them balance, and softens them. Then you get the calming (which I have used quite often) effect. The cleansing blend worked really well (I did add some citrus, and I think a little lavender). I don't remember what the odor was that I was trying to get rid of but it worked really well. It didn't cover up the smell, it was really gone. The single oils can use a bit of blending as well. For example, this single oil lavender is not really my favorite. It's kind of flat when used alone. Add a drop or two of the lemon, and it really brightens the lavender and is really nice even though you don't really smell the citrus. So if you are up for a experimentation, this is a good set. I will probably buy some more single oils rather than any more blends. I would buy from this brand as well.

I've been dealing with worsening allergy issues. Allergy shots, antihistamines, decongestants, etc - little seems to help. I have noticed in the past that tea tree-based shampoos actually seemed to help some. And then last week I tried Vick's VapoRub to try and open up my sinuses and it really helped, but I didn't want the greasy smear on me while working, watching tv, sleeping, etc. I'd read that essential oils can help, but wondered if it really seemed like a "guy" thing to do... What the heck - I'm desperate! I tried this starter kit, and have found the Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass and Peppermint all seem to help - either on their own, or if I try different combinations. Usually I'll just put a few drops on a kleenex, and keep it in a shirt pocket - that's enough for me to get just a hit of the "fumes" to gain the benefits without being overwhelming. Seriously - I wish I'd tried this sooner! And since these are such potent scents (while still being pleasurable), a little dab'll do ya - and I think a small bottle will go a long ways! When asking friends/coworkers I'd gotten the idea essential oils would be pricey, but this variety pack is a great price, and Eden's Garden got it from California to Ohio FAST, and in a nice storage box that, if I were giving it as a gift, I would've pretty much consider it as good as wrapped. We sometimes have sleeping problems here at home, especially when sharing the bed with a couple dogs, so I'm curious to try stuff like Lavendar and Relaxation Mix scents. After getting over the initial hesitation of trying essential oils, and being very happy with this product, I'm hitting them up at their site to try the "Create Your Own" combination as well - I'm curious about some of their other "scents", and wonder if I could mix up something similar to the winter season scented hand soaps I got a couple years ago from Williams Sonoma (pine, clove, cinnamon, vanilla, orange, etc).

I bought some of these for a gift, and the organic set of 6 for myself. As far as the one I bought for the giftee, she was VERY excited about them. I bought a slightly different product, the organic set of 6 for myself, and I'm impressed with it too. The things they have in common I can compare are the packaging and the quality of the oils. It's in a box simplistic yet pretty enough to give as a gift. The original box they came in has lasted for months for me, and I use them a lot. And wow, I can tell you at least on my end that the organic oils are doing a great job right now. I am using them a lot in my laundry (they aren't so expensive that you feel bad about using them a lot for something like that, the price is great for these) and for some home remedies for the skin, plus some aromatherapy benefits have been helping me out. The smells are nice and strong, the bottles come bigger than you think they are, and I can say, you probably don't want to drop them all the time, but I've dropped them a lot on the tile floor while doing laundry (whoops!!) but none of the bottles have broken. You will love this product. It smells strongly and the oils are all of great quality. Enjoy!

I am so pleased with them and I have already ordered more. The packaging and storage box are great - high quality. I ordered these oils to start making some homemade cleaning supplies and beauty products. I saw that the more I researched, the more I saw that I was going to need some essential oils to complete my projects. So let's see, I made all purpose spray cleaners for the home using lemon grass, as well as one with lavender. I just put 3 cups of water, 1 1/2 cups of white vinegar and a few drops of oil. Viola! Non-toxic, lovely-smelling cleaners. And I brought them to work and my coworkers went crazy for them and I ended up making a bunch more. The other big hit was the homemade sugar scrubs. In this case, I made scrubs from lavender, tea tree, peppermint (very popular) and sweet orange. I used sugar, safflower oil and a few drops of my wonderul Eden's Garden Essential oils. I wrapped them up pretty and again, my co workers went crazy for them. The oils smell so good and are a nice break from all the perfumy, artificial commercial cleaners and beauty products. I will be ordering again for sure!!
