Game Boy Color - Berry (Renewed) [video game]

Got this for my father, He loved it! It works well and seems pretty perfect. He said it sparked a lot of childhood memories for him.

Good quality refurbished GBC. Works like new and provides lots of nostalgia as it has endless amounts of games to chose from. Very kid friendly as well.

Giving it 4 stars since I don’t have a game for it yet. But this handheld looks like it just game out of the box, turns on and has working volume even though it’s not very loud. I was kind of 50/50 about buying this and so far so good. I do hear a little rattle sound from the inside I’m just hoping it’s nothing major and can’t wait to throw a game in it

A few minor things; - Screen popped out a bit during transit but was easily put back in. - volume isn’t the best, very low. (fixable with use of headphone jack, not a big deal!) - had to blow into the system and cartridge 4-5 times to get past the title screen. (As expected, especially for first time use- not a big deal, ik some people get thrown off by the title freezing) Despite the issues, it’s nothing to give less than five stars on as all of these are a bit expected when receiving a renewed system that’s of an older model. Very happy with this purchase!

I purchased this in an attempt to reignite nostalgia I have for the late 1990s purple Game Boy Color I had as a kid (I am now 36). It works perfectly well with the old Game Boy game I have (Pokemon Silver version), but I'm not content with how the reconstruction looks and feels. It's extremely light and flimsy looking, and the color does not match what is in the picture here; it's more of a dark blue. My old console was built like a tank. This one may blow away in the wind because of how light it feels. The design / dimensions are also smaller. They resemble the earlier model, the Game Boy Pocket. It didn't strike that feeling I was looking for. I am grateful to be able to play my old game on it, though. The colors on the screen are as I remember them as a kid, and there have been no hiccups with game play.

just got the gameboy and I’m disappointed to see that the console has no sound, the A and B button barely works, I cannot move the character downwards because the control doesn’t work.. very disappointed. I want a refund please.

Este producto me llegó hace unos 3 días aproximadamente, y la verdad me emocionó mucho el ver la consola que tenía cuando estaba niño, pero dejando de lado la nostalgia vi unos rasguños en el cascarón del game boy, la pantalla no se ve del todo bien, y no agarró los juegos que tengo de game boy. Lo bueno es que lo mandé a que lo revisaran y me dijeron que todo tiene solución pero para lo que costó no debería de hacer todo este desmadre. Pero en fin espero con ansias a que mi game boy esté reparada :)
