Leviton 15 Amp, 125 Volt, Cord Outlet, 1 Pack, 102-WP, White

Like others, I had a very long vacuum cleaner cord that I cut off an old cleaner and saved. These female ends are a great bargain and the fact of the matter is, it saves me from having to drive to some hardware store and over pay twice the amount I paid for this Leviton from Amazon and the Leviton is better quality and shows up on my porch the next day and works perfect. The wires fit really well and I was able to tighten the screw super tight. Very good product.

High quality materials. Easy installation. Certainly no worries of sparks or fire. Ordering more just to have on hand.

Good basic 2 prong cord outlet. Good price and if you know what you are doing, not to difficult to put together. I just created an extension cord for my cheapo leaf blower and basically fix it so it was permanently attached to the thing. So it is now light weight and and always has a cord included with it.

my plastic shelled vacuum cleaner (Dyson), fell over, down three stairs and smashed into many pieces. Cheap hard plastic components shattered. As I was recycling it, I cut off the long power cord. Using the Leviton 102-WP 016-00102-0WP 15 Amp, 125 Volt, Cord outlet, I was able to turn the power cord into an extension cord. Took about 5 minutes to build and works like a charm. Just need to be careful about running electricity through such a long cord, it gets very warm, very quickly. But for short tasks, like vacuuming the carpets, this is ideal for me. I recommend the Leviton 102-WP 016-00102-0WP 15 Amp, 125 Volt, Cord outlet if you need to turn a connector into an extension cord.

Well made and easy to use.

Parts don't fly apart to connect wire cord. Strip the wire insulation & insert bare wire into slotted/screw terminals so that screws clamp wire in clock wise direction. The clam shell design, keeps the halves together, till you can press the halves together, and complete screwing them together. Easiest female plug replacement ever....

Well made and easy to install. Just make sure you wire the large slot to the large prong to preserve the polarity and to avoid potential shock hazard.

Easy to install
