ZAKTool ZT-9P Flat Knurled Swivel Key, Black

I like the length and portability of this key. Not a big fan of the plastic handle, however it does seem durable. Use this in a defensive tactics class and it was used by me and several other individuals, no issues.

Loved the product and it arrived on time as expected. I like ZAK supplies and feel this is made With same quality and expectation we all trust... I also appreciated the outreach from the seller- they’ve made sure to stay in contact from letting me know the product shipped.. to sending a follow up email to be sure I was satisfied.. top quality customer service!So, why a universal handcuff key? Well, to sum it up.. The world seems to be heading towards some unknown territory and TBH, making “go bag“ and storing it away gives peace of mind, sad but, true! I’ve got kids out of state in different colleges and I want them to prepared as well- One never knows IF.. this could come in handy?!! (Illegals detention?!) No! I do not intend to see them arrested or busting out of handcuffs- along the same lines, I do not see them needing emergency fishing pole equipment, using fire starting paraphernalia and yet, who knows what could happen if things become unhinged!!A lifetime ago I was worked for Police Department and tried these on my S/W cuffs- with a little patience and tweaking, we got the cuffs opened up. So, I do feel this is a product that could come in handy- if, you have it available right time and right place! But.. Like I said, I’m not expecting to ever need to use.. I’m just going to feel better that it’s in the bag, just in case!!Using the product feels sturdy and quite durable.. I could however tell, that with too much torque.. this does have ability to bend/brake metal end, if not careful. But, it would take a lot of misuse/force to do so.Overall, I’m a crazy mom.. wanting to plan for the crazy “what if’s” and doing that.. I felt this is a rock solid item and a staple to add to my “just in case” needs inside the go bag- worth the purchase.. and truly, a purchase I hope I never need!! Wouldn’t even care if they all called me crazy and told stories of “ remember when mom went nuts and ordered a handcuff key?! It would be money well spent even if it’s just for the entertainment value my kiddos would get out of teasing me!!”I hope this info helps… Feel free to let me know!

This is so convenient and easy to carry without losing. Just hook it onto your belt/vest and you're set. No more misplaced cuff keys or trying to find the right one.

Great 👍 product! Works with all my cuffs no problem. The swivel is a great feature. Only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is that its not all metal. The main body is some kind of polymer. Its really sturdy and won't bend but I would have gladly paid another few dollars for all metal

The key is super light but made of durable metal. It does not feel flimsy whatsoever. It has nice knurling on the flat section that gives a nice grip.It unlocks handcuffs as it should and has the pin to engage the safety that won’t allow the cuffs to tighten any further. It also has a rotating key ring. Nice, high quality feeling piece.

Way better than the pen ones.

At first I was a little worried having read reviews that this key wouldn't fit the cuffs I use. When it it arrived I was also worried the lightweight feel to it. Having said that though. This key has been used multiple times with kwikcuffs and works on the plasticuffs too. So much better than the farty little silver thing we get issued with now. If you take anything away from this review. Take these:1) buy this bit of kit.2) Get a Zak Tools ZT55 or ZT52 to put it on. You will not regret it!
