LeapFrogTag Funny Phrases

Our daughter loves this. She's only five so this is a great way/tool to help her learn how to create sentences. She has fun with creating the silly sentences. Before purchasing this I thought the words were only on one side. The pleasant surprise is there were more words on the back of the pieces so this doubled the fun and the creativity! This was well worth the purchase. I got more than what I expected for her:)! REMEMBER this works with the TAG pen...unless you're going to do it solo, but I would recommend using the pen to get the full effect:).

Unlike most Tag items, this does NOT work with the LeapReader.

We own probably a dozen Tag books/games. This one hasn't kept my boys nearly as engaged as some of the others, although it is fun. With all the loose tiles to keep track of, it is certainly not as travel-friendly or mess-free, either. The Tag system is amazing, but I'd recommend getting a standard Tag book or map instead of this.

My kids love this game so I have to give it 4 stars. But it doesn't work with our LeapReader pen. I should have read this ahead of time but I didn't. However it's sure cute to play this with them-- they love making up their own sentences.

My daughter really enjoys this. She 4 years old and doesn't yet read but she's memorized most of the words and loves making funny sentences. Good value for the price.

This is a great product for use with the Tag reading system, which we are huge fans of. It's educationally rich, while cracking kids (and parents) up. It teaches sentence structure, develops sight words, and allows kids to play with language and take risks - wonderful!! My 4 and 5 year old love it and it was great for our recent road trip - the pieces are easy to remove and put in place, but snug enough that they don't fall out and get lost. It's a sturdy board that fits well on a lap. One more thing to note is that each word piece is double-sided - so many possibilities for funny sentences!

My least favorite leapfrog reader accessory. We lost a lot of the pieces already.

My 7 y.o. daughter only played with this about ten minutes when I gave it to her. I really thought she would love this, I'm still hoping she will get more into this. Two other kids, boys, 6-7, have come to our house since purchase and they absolutely loved this. The squares are a little hard to get out of their places but I expect after use they will loosen up a bit. I'm always looking for things with more activity for the tag reader, so this looked promising to me. I'm interested in the map that will be coming out soon. Overall I think this funny phrases board is great and hopeful that it will get more use at our house.
