CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: The Complete Series

Good ending to a wonderful series.

A real finale - these actors were given the chance to really finish CSI off together, and they did it successfully! Grissom returns, so does Catherine. This is good TV, and a very suitable ending after 15 seasons. A single double length episode that brings back old cast members, old adversaries and is also augmented by really good 'nostalgic' special features. If you have watched the 15 seasons, it isn't complete without this. This is NOT included in the season 15 box set.

CSI the finale - as we say farewell to this much loved show, cast and crew. Delivered quick, only a couple of days. I added this to finish my collection of probably one, if not the best crime drama show that ever donned our tv screens, gracing us with "who dunnits" and mediocre speedy science - this show single handedly got people into forensics and criminology. Way to go CSI!! This disc is a basically a tie in, tie up the show in a nice little neat package, a feature length episode, there is one member missing (sad face). This episode itself wasn't as gritty, meaty or indulging as their other episodes, like I say its more for the ending of riding out into the sunset, hand in hand. I won't ruin it like others do, bloomin spoilers people, like that time people ruined titanic for me, by telling me it hits an iceberg and sinks... like for real whhyyyyy! :) This is a great watch, with a nice and fitting way to send the show off. I certainly don't begrudge the finale having a whole disc to itself !!!

Extremely disappointing. For the finale to a magnificent television series this was one of the worst I have ever seen. The storyline was simply rubbish. Hoping for fabulous drama and a little comedy celebrating the cast past and present and it seemed to be all about Grissom and Sarah getting back together with little decent forensics. Hodges, Henry and Greg were barely in it; for long standing members of the cast that was quite upsetting. Morgan showed up in a few scenes which made no sense. The reasoning for bringing back old members of the cast was poorly played out. The bee thing was naff. The bombs in cars thing was naff and so poorly acted it was unbelievable and made no sense. All in all it was a very poor ending and could have been so much better. No wonder George Eads refused to come back for it and the follow on from the final series with what happened to Finn was just pointless and naff. Wouldn't choose to watch it again in a hurry. A very boring finale.

Everything falls into place as one would wish in this last episode of this well travelled (not geographically) but emotionally long running series. Well publicized return of all the original cast including the favourite Grissom. From a personal point of view, I would have liked to see Nick return for this finale to also meet up with the old pals. The usual range of the strengths each member of the cast brings to the series sublimated by those others who have returned for the finale. I would not have missed this for the world it gave me closure to a series I have watched over and over and will miss greatly.

Great end to a great show. Most of the old team back for one last time. Original and best CSI series.

As this was probably the last ever CSI Vegas, it was a well made and memorable film. Good to see practically all the CSI teams together for this last episode. Hopefully it will be revived at a later date now that Marg Hellgenberger (Catherine) seems set to take over the lead role as the boss of the CSI crew.

Great series but when received in UK, found it was region 1, not region 2. No warning from seller. Luckily we have a multi-region player but others may not be so lucky.

Pleased with purchase & receipt of CIS: The Finale.

It was a very nostalgic thing watching the finale of CSI, "Immortality"... it was great, as usual, with excellent acting, writing, and effects, but also bittersweet, knowing there would be no more new episodes of this series again! I am so glad that characters Gil Grissom and Catherine Willows returned- they brought the spark back with them that only they had, which was missing since they left the show. They also have one of the series' best one-liners from Catherine, to Grissom. My only real complaint was that the character of Nick Stokes did not return, but I'm sure there were reasons, and it was still a strong, fulfilling ending. (Additionally, my favourite character, Greg Sanders, survived the whole series! Whoo!) I highly recommend this for the collection of CSI fans. **(I have seen many people complaining that this was not included with the Season 15 collection, but why would it be? This is NOT part of Season 15. Season 15 ended before the series was cancelled, and "Immortality" aired when what would have been the Season 16 premier, had the series continued. Instead, they gave us a proper two-hour series finale.)**
