Definitely very course rub for roasts, steaks, etc
Extra Course ad advertised and has dominant black pepper flavor with slight heat on back end. Will be good for roasts, tri-tips, steaks if pressed into the meat. Then let sit in fridge a couple days. Hopefully will stay on meat when grilled as many course spices fall off when cooking on BBQ. Overall a good rub for the price. Next weekend will prep large tri-tip, rub with olive oil and coat with this rub. Wrap in butcher paper 2 days in fridge, then slow cook all day on pellet grill with hickory pellets. Should come out tasty.

Extra coarse grain rub
This is an amazing rub, I used it on a brisket and it turned out awesome!! It is just a tad bit to coarse for my personal taste but a few pulses in a food processor will grind it a little smaller for my preferences. Overall a great rub!!

Good peppery rub, not too salty
I've bought a ton of rubs and most are too salty. This rub has nice light peppery flavor and is light on the salt. My wife always complains the other rubs are to salty; no such issues here...plus great on burgers! The label says try it on pizza, gonna try it.

Good stuff
I bought this to add to the cheese bread that I make. I really like it. It has the perfect blend of herbs and spices. It doesn’t overpower the taste but gives it a kick. Have no idea how it would be on steaks but I would think it would be good.

Great for steaks
I've used it on steak pork, and chicken. Its a good rub that adds a ton of flavor. For some reason I prefer the taste of this rub with beef.

Great Rub!
I had a small bottle of this rub. When I finally tried it, it didn't last very long. Buy the large size!

Great spice flavor
Great value. I have used twice, family and friends loved. I did not like how much pepper was in it. I tried to give a decent review as I was the only one out of 6 people in house that thought it had too much pepper. Again family loved it.

Tasty
I don’t know that it is the best ever, but it is one of the best on Amazon. Share your reviews if you know on that is better. The Cattlemen’s California Tri Tip is a little better for steak. This is more universal, put it on eggs, turkey thighs, chicken, and brisket.
