This thing works great! I use it at work to count tasks. I typically click it 200-300 times a day. I have it on my desk, and when I finish a task I reach for this counter using my peripheral vision and just grab and click it. I tried using a different, LCD finger counter earlier and button was very "soft" and sometimes wouldn't register a click when I pushed it, so I would always have to stop, read the number on the LCD counter, then push and watch until the number increased. With this Digi 1st Tally Counter I don't have that issue at all. The button push and click are very firm and audible, but not in a distracting way. I know when it has registered without having to look at it, and it is always right on because the next day I get a computer report that confirms what I clicked. When I ordered this counter and it first arrived I thought I would have to attach the base to a piece of wood for stability, but I haven't. Even though it's small and fairly lightweight, it is very stable on my desktop without being mounted to anything. I would highly recommend this if you're looking for something to sit on your desk and quickly and accurately keep a tally of tasks.

Works great and easy to install

This works exactly as expected. The button is not stiff at all even for arthritic hands. It’s sturdy and gives a satisfying click. I use mine for counting knitting rows. To zero it out you have to roll it forward. A single clear button would have been nice, but this not a digital unit that would have allowed that. But then again you don’t have to charge this simple unit. I’d buy again.

Works great for what I need

I use this counter for keeping track of knitting and crocheting rows. It's accurate and quiet, and sits solidly on my tabletop. I added 3 little sticky felt rounds to the bottom to keep the base from scratching my wood table.

This is better than anything I've found in stores and no batteries to replace like all the digital options. It's heavy metal, sturdy, and can be switched from table top to lanyard by removing the base with removal of one screw. The lanyard is not included. I like that it has an audible click when pressed so I don't have to be looking at it to make sure it has advanced to the next number. It counts to 9,999 and is easily reset to 0.

All metal and seems pretty sturdy. This will save time from counting items come recycling time.
