Good knife. Too flexible for many tasks.
This is good for feathering edges and maybe embedding tape. I don't like it for gap filling corners. The edge is much too flexible. It just chatters and doesn't force the compound into the gaps well. But when you need a very flexible knife in your collection, this is just that. It will also rust since it's carbon steel. But they all will. Overall Wagner makes some of the best knives. I believe this one is Made in USA.

A Good Inexpensive Putty Knife
Honestly, there's not a lot that should be able to go wrong with a putty knife. The blade ought to stay attached, the handle shouldn't fall apart ... you get the idea. From what I've seen so far, this one gets the job done. The blade flexes well and is sharp enough to scrape off excess, even with a thick epoxy wood filler. The handle is comfortable and the yellow accents make it easy to find on the ground or in a toolbox. And it doesn't cost very much, which is good, because you can buy an extra and still have one after your neighbor borrows your putty knife and doesn't return it.

Good quality. What else is there to know?
It's a good quality putty knife, and was extremely inexpensive. I purchased it along with some other items that I wasn't able to find at the local hardware store. I'm not a big proponent of buying tools online, but this worked out just fine. Very flexible, but sturdy. Better than expected!

Great quality tool
Great quality tool. Works perfectly for peeling 3D prints off of a printing bed. I am sure it would work excellently for applying putty too.

Low quality, rusts easily
This is the only knife I've ever owned that rusts so easily and completely. Mine's a mess after a few months. I know it's carbon steel and not stainless, but my kitchen is full of carbon steel knives and they're as shiny as new and they spend a lot more wet-time than this excuse for a tool.

Best for paint prep
Absolutely the best all around paint scraping / painting prep tool i’ve ever used. It’s just flexible enough to get under peeling paint. The blade is really sharp. The fact that it’s angled is hella useful in getting into corners. There’s nothing better that i’ve found for removing old caulking as well. The blade holds up pretty well to abuse. When it wears out, it’s pretty inexpensive to replace. Love this tool for painting prep work.

Rusted after one use
I used it for drywall mudding in tight areas and the next morning I found to the end of the knife had rusted. Will order a different brand.

Needs a little
Good, solid putty knife. I like the handle and the hammerhead tip is essential for those pesky nails and screws poking out from the drywall. My only gripe would be that it doesn't have quite enough flex, it's just a little too stiff compared to the 4" putty knife which I prefer.

Great professional taping knife.
Used Richards taping knife all my life but tried these and I'm extremely happy. The metal seems to last better. Most know Richards are the best buy these equal and maybe surpass them.
