NorCal Brewing Solutions 1.5" Tri Clover/Tri Clamp Ultimate Corny (Cornelius) Gas In with Pressure Relief Valve (PRV)

The media could not be loaded.  I found all the parts on Amazon to assemble this dry hopper for my fermenter. At $75, this end cap cost just $25 less than all the other parts combined so it was the most expensive component. I purged the sight glass with 7lbs of CO2 and sprayed some soapy water to check for leaks and you can see in the video that it's leaking right at the base of the gas post, under a nut that seems to be welded poorly. (Edit: I had originally thought the PRV was manual release but it's actually more of a spunding valve. The included spring, however, will only pressurize to 2-3lbs. I had a heavier stainless steel spring on hand that allowed me to get it to 10-12 lbs of pressure before releasing.)I really wanted this to work as I couldn't find a 1.5" tri clamp end cap anywhere with both a gas post and a PRV. Everything is 2" and larger which is too big. I'm returning it for a replacement and will update.
