It's very stylish, very useful, and very easy to install. It also heats up very quickly. It's definitely a product with a very reasonable price and performance. I recommend it; you don't need to choose more expensive products.

Excellent value for money. We installed this unit in a compact kitchenette as part of a garage conversion, and it has performed exceptionally well and very easy to use. The hob heats up rapidly, with the highest setting bringing water to a boil in just a short time. Installation does require a 6mm cable and a dedicated circuit, unless it is replacing an existing electric hob or oven. Overall, we are very satisfied with the quality, performance, and efficiency of this appliance.

I'm quite happy with it, it heats up very quickly and the touch keypad is very simple and easy to use. The manual says there is a safety feature whereby you can lock the keypad by pressing the + and - buttons at the same time, and unlock it in the same fashion, however I found that this does not work and the only way to unlock it is to switch off the wall switch and switch it on again. I am wondering if this is actually a fault, or if they have modified the mode of operation since the manual was printed, which often happen with products. I would be interested to know if other customers have experienced the same.

Love it a bargain price too! It fit great, seal included looks really smart and works great! So much easier to workthan i though, and goodbye to cleaning knobs!

Our hob stopped working so I needed a replacement quickly. I looked around at what was available and checked out the reviews and decided to give this "budget" hob a go. So glad I did! Very easy to install, no fuss, fitted and working straight away. It has two small rings and two large rings. It has touch control so no buttons to get in the way or gather dirt. The appliance comes on when you rest your finger on the "on" button for a few seconds. To turn on a ring you touch the ring button you require and then press the plus or minus sign. The buttons are extremely sensitive so if you put anything on them they sound an alarm. The ring symbol flashes while the ring is warm as a precaution. Great hob and fab price.

nice to use no nobs to try to clean around

Well, that’s after just a couple of weeks. It is a neat and convenient piece of kit. Suits me along side a microwave and air fryer. With the aperture cut in the worktop according to the measurements given I couldn’t use the clips on both side. The main problem was the power cable. It comes out from the side and is a bit awkward to fit in causing a rather sharp kink. Better to have exited from the bottom. I only use one ring at a time mostly. Time will tell as its durability.

Simple to install as a replacement for my old Hotpoint that broke from my carelessness. The spring tabs at the sides were too much so I just used them on the one side and it slotted down neatly. Simple to operate.

Sono un creativo e ho una mezza idea di riprogettare la zona cucina, creando un piano cottura ibrido: una parte con i fornelli a gas tradizionali, ed una elettrica. Inoltre essendo un assiduo utilizzatore di friggitrice ad aria e multicooker volevo evitare di chiedere un potenziamento della rete elettrica nel mio appartamento o dover quasi centellinare i Watts in uso quando cucino per tutta la famiglia. Ecco perchè ho ordinato questo piano cottura in vetroceramica con soltanto due piastre. Mi consentirà di utilizzare le pentole che ho già in casa senza doverne comprare altre apposite, come avrei dovuto fare se fosse stato ad induzione. Nei piani cottura ad induzione, sotto il top sono presenti delle bobine elettriche che generano un campo magnetico, che verrà trasferito alla base della pentola, mentre in questo, le piastre sono radianti, ossia delle resistenze circolari che aumentando di temperatura, fanno passare il calore alla vetroceramica che lo trasmette alla pentola. Non sono sicurissimo perchè non sono esperto, ma avevo ricevuto una spiegazione simile quando ho esposto la mia idea per fare la scelta giusta, e l’ ho riportata. Il confezionamento aziendale fà si che l’ accessorio sia ben protetto da presagomati in simil spugna ma più rigida, che attutisce eventuali colpi durante il trasporto. C’ è tutto l’ occorrente, inclusi i piedini di gomma per rialzare il piano cottura, le clip, del nastro e la spatolina oltre il libretto di istruzioni. Purtroppo è solo in inglese e anche se lo conosco abbastanza bene, sono andato in difficoltà perchè in alcuni frangenti viene utilizzato del linguaggio tecnico con cui non mi sono mai interfacciato. Viene spiegato anche come installarlo ad incasso, in modo definitivo, consigliando di far svolgere il lavoro a personale qualificato. Sono menzionate le funzionalità blocco bambini e timer, ma sinceramente non ho capito come attivarle, affianco al knob principale, non ci sono i comandi dedicati. A prescindere dopo 2 ore si spegne tutto in modo automatico. Il top è gratificante alla vista, nero leggermente satinato al tatto con i dettagli viola ma purtroppo, lucido. In pochi secondi la polvere si deposita e nota subito, e la stessa cosa vale per le impronte o se si utilizza un panno in microfibra, lascerà “le scie”. Un unico knob centrale e con profilo antiscivolo gestisce entrambe le piastre, inviando l’ energia da noi assegnata, dal livello 1 al 9. La piastra più piccola e vicina alla manopola può assorbire fino a 1200W, mentre quella più grande 1800W, per un totale di 3000W, ma solo se vengono impostate al massimo. I comandi di accensione e assegnazione della piastra sono touch e viene avvertito un suono appena si sfiorano. È tutto ultra semplice, si accende il piano cottura, si seleziona la piastra e si ruota il knob fino alla potenza desiderata, nulla di più. A fine cottura, comparirà la lettera -H- che vuol dire Hot=caldo che ci ricorderà di non toccare la piastra perchè è ancora calda. Non appena si raffredda è possibile pulirla con un detergente neutro e un panno morbido, oppure la spatolina inclusa in confezione se lo sporco è più consistente. Vengono consigliati dei prodotti specifici che per ora non ho ancora trovato nella mia zona, e quindi acquistato. Come si evince dalle foto allegate, ho cucinato una bella bistecca e il risultato è stato soddisfacente, non ho notato differenze rispetto alla classica cottura con fornello a gas. Carne saporita, e con quella leggerissima “crosticina” simil-bruciato che tanto adoro. Per ora il mio è stato soltanto un test provvisorio per verificarne il funzionamento, connesso ad una presa schuko/tedesca in cucina cosi come è stato estratto dalla scatola, dopo aver avvitato soltanto i piedini in gomma in confezione. Quando il “progettino zona cucina” diventerà realtà, verrà installato in modo definitivo.
