I am so disappointed. Was waiting for ages to finally get a proper DVD (after the US DVD must have been a Bootleg version). But it seems that they've taken an old VHS cassette as a master to create this DVD. The picture quality is quite poor and the sound has several dropouts as we know them from old video cassettes.When will this Little Romy Schneider movie finally get a proper release???

Very poor picture and sound quality as mentioned in previous review. A great shame really as this film is not very well known unlessyou are a fan of the two stars and this disc does nobody any justice.Richard Harris only film as director. He wasn't the original choice but took over when original director left. Lots of sunsets and freeze frames. He is ok in the part of aging footballer facing an uncertain future when he is too old to play on the pitch anymore. Romy Schneider doesn't really have too much to do as his sculpture girlfriend on the way up in the art world. However she does well with what she is given. Kim Burfield is effective in the young fan who idolises the Harris character.The music includes tracks written by Maurice Gibb.
