the little axe has some weight to it, it comes fairly sharp. I did resharpen to knock of some edge burrs. I am happy with my purchase. I recommend the buy!

Sharp and made well

My son bargained for this axe and was willing to do almost anything to have it. He loves to build random shelters and crazy creations in the woods around our home, and this is the dream of his boyish heart. Very sharp. I’ve likely lost my mind. Case straps on pretty neatly and tightly with button closures. Good price for a sturdy camping axe.

Good for very small jobs

The truth be told, it small & sturdy. I try to carry at least some non knife tool with me when I bicycle. I not sure about the legality of it but I'd rather find out later than sooner. I've been involved in a bicycle robbery before, I don't want to experience the same feeling of helplessness again. This may be just the item to convince any would be attackers to choose someone else. Anyone can carry a knife but only the truly crazy, who want to be left alone to ride in peace carry an axe.

Excellent product and is very well made. Bought for a gift and the person was quite impressed and has used it several times without incident. Would buy again.
