Unsafe at any speed!!!
I know one star is a little harsh, but this is a completely unimpressive handlebar, and it is unsafe. It deserves zero stars and a do not buy logo. As mentioned by others, there are absolutely no instructions, the holes do not fit the screws they send you, but if you are mechanically inclined, you can get it easily installed within 10 minutes. That is assuming, you know how to get the old knee bar off, which is very tricky. I promise you, you will struggle with that. Anyway, my biggest complaint with this handle bar is that it is forward heavy, meaning, when I step off the nine bought, it rolls slowly forward. No amount of recalibrating and adjusting the tilt with the application on my phone have overcome this. So, the handle bar was difficult to install, because it was undocumented and not machined well, and it is designed poorly to be too heavy forward. But, if you can deal with those, it is definitely fun to ride with handlebars instead of knees only. It’s a typical quick mass Chinese import product. No real finesse to the handlebar. Just, Expect that this product will underwhelm you, but function, bottom line.Update after two weeks of use: THIS ITEM IS UNSAFE AT ANY SPEED!!! Do not buy!!! I was concerned from the beginning that the connector from the handlebar to the mini pro is plastic, but it seemed sturdy enough. However, today I stumbled and tried to correct myself on the handlebar and it snapped right off, and my legs were tangled in the scooter and steering pole. I fell hard and broke my shoulder. This would not have happened if I could trust the rigidity of the handlebar, but it snapped right off. I am a tall man, but not heavy. I’m 5’11”, 165 pounds. Athletic. I fell and now I have an injury because of a cheap plastic control arm instead of aluminum. Really no excuse to sell this junk. It is unsafe.

Easy installation and well put together
Easy installation and well put together. I like that it fits like a glove a glove and no more tipping over when turning off. You can mount it on either wheel but for charging I recommend putting it on the left wheel.. I am showing a picture without the kickstand. The two holes is what the red kickstand bracket screws into. It's that simpleUpdate: After going about 30 miles the two nuts came loose on the kickstand I recommend buying locknuts right away so you don't lose your kickstand-or putting locktite on the bolts. The size of the bolts is M8 for the lock nuts if you want to buy them now. You will need two of them

I returned mine - here's why
Let me start by saying that I definitely recommend getting a set of handlebars. These will make your Segway safer to use, impact your ability to overcome obstacles and will allow you to travel longer distances without getting as tired. However, after purchasing three such products, I decided to return this one because I came to the conclusion that it has drawbacks I'm not comfortable with.Issue #1 - Another reviewer noted that the product didn't come with instructions and this is true. Installation is mostly self explanatory but I too experienced some problems and wished I had a manual.Issue #2 - One of the other products I purchased has a curved base, this one doesn't. The curved base is critical because it places the handlebars just forward of the foot rests but not too much so. Lack of the curvature pushes them to much forward which requires the user to lean more forward and is therefore less stable.Issue #3 - Rattling handlebars - the handlebars are held together to the vertical post with spring-loaded pin. This set up is expected to rattle during use in an otherwise very quiet means of transportation.

Segway LITE handlebar review: your knees will thank you! Needed dremel grinding
Many of the reviews in this Amazon entry are for the kickstand product. This is a review of the handlebar which has a little minimally functional "kickstand" that can be opened up when stopped. We found this is an essential accessory to the Segway miniLITE, especially for taller and older riders. We have been using this for almost a month and will update if there are metal fatigue or other early product failures. For those over 6' tall, but still weighing less than the miniLITE 80kg/176lb weight limit, we need this bar instead of the Segway sore knee maker control!Pros: + easily installed, BUT the version we received needed a bit of rework noted in the Cons section + well made for a portable control stick! + handlebar mirror is a nice touch + adds essential control for taller riders to the Segway miniLITE + flip-down "kickstand" in the front is better than nothing and retracts completely out of the way + removable handlebar is nicely made and extends high enough for s rider up to 6' tallCons: - version received required some grinding to trim metal and allow the handlebar to fit in the fixed base (photo TBD) - removable handlebar could use more adjustment holes for shorter riders - which you could add yourself, just be sure to deburr holes on the inside! - wish the handlebar were a few inches longer, then more bicycle handlebar accessories such as lights and smartphone holder would fit comfortablyDespite initial installation rework (will post a photo), this is an essential option to replace the Segway miniLITE or miniPRO knee controls. Get one of these to go with your Segway miniLITE/PRO; your knees will thank you!

Stand n Deliver
First this is a must have item for all Mini Pro owners. I've been wanting to get one and saw this n jumped. Quality is very good on this kickstand there are very cheap ones this is not one of those. Extremely easy to install about 4 minutes. The added tool to install works good but use a regular screw driver to firm it up tight. So if you own a Segway Mini Pro then grab this asap and stop leaning your foot ride up against the wall.
