Portable Mini Facial Steamer (Ozone & Aromatherapy) by Silver Fox

2023 update- still working excellent! Only complaint is the rubber rings for sealing the connections have come off and some have been lost. User issue mostlyI purchased this almost 2 years ago and use it about monthly. It’s held up well. It produces great steam. I have only ever used distilled water, but I have never noticed a smell and have not experienced any water spitting. I’m careful to allow the components to dry out well ( I have mold paranoia) and when reconnecting I make sure they are snug. Not only is this great for facials at home but I have also used it for congestion/sinus issues. Overall, I would (and have) recommended this to my family and friends.

I am quite happy with this product. It serves its purpose; steamer button opens your pores and lets out warm steam. Ozone button lets out thicker white steam. The only annoying part is that sometimes it "spits" out a bit of liquid which scared me in the beginning but I got used to it by now. My face looks much better and easier to clean. I would say go for it. My skin looks a lot younger and fresher.

A friend just graduated as an Esthetician and was setting up in a salon, but needed this to start booking serious facial appointments. He is thrilled with it...very thrilled! Ozone facials are very healthy, and the potential use of Aromatherapy is just a plus! What he didn't realize was that there was an extension arm with the unit - which delighted him no end! Based on his reactions, and his increased profits, I think this is one very good product!

The machine quits working after 30 minutes. its built in such a way that it cannot handle the heat it produces. The head or last point before steam is created cracks horizontally on both outter pieces. The machines itself Ozone switch stops working at the same point the heating element quits working.Basically its a complete failure after second use.

The steam is not very strong. I think there are better steamers out there but this is for the budget challenged individuals.

I am an esthetician ( Insta: @TheGLOHeaux) . Currently working from home and needed a new light weight steamer . The one facial I was actually able to do was great. It cut off as as I was finished but I thought it was a self cooling mechanism or something but then it wouldn’t turn back on at all. I waited let it air out , used multiple outlets and nothing. I hate writing bad reviews but this is definitely not worth it . I had to default to my personal vanity planet steamer which I love and will use until I find a good, reliable replacement. Keep searching . This is not it !

Needed a quick facial rejuvenation but ran into scheduling conflicts after calling several different spas...eventually said to myself instead of me spending thousands of $$ on spa packages and temporary facial rejuvenation/relief at the spa thought why not do it myself and so far I'm satisfied w/ my choice. My take on Port Mini Facial Steamer ordered from Silver Fox:Pros:Very easy to assemble/disassemble, auto shut off when water level gets low, ozone function to purify water, starts to steam w/in about 3-5 mins after powering up and filled w/ water, steam output was just right for me and not overdone.Cons: I suggest you do a test cycle and allow the steamer to go through 1-2 cycles on its own once prior to use...for me it was late and i was so ready to use the steamer i didnt do the test cycle and there was this applicance smell that eventually went away (got ignored) after a few mins. Just like w/ a coffeemaker a test run is suggested to allow the appliance to clear itself of any reminants and make sure its functioning well. Just to make sure I knew how this steamer looked in size so I wouldnt get stuck w/ a dud i pulled it up (as I do most things) on youtube [...] not sure if its the exact same one but similar. Overall, love the steamer and will be using weekly.

No complaints what so ever I have about 7 months with it. I’m very please with my purchase. Just graduated esthetics school & I needed a portable steamer, so I decided to purchase this one. Great steam! It’s approx 17 inches in length. Maybe less it’s great tho. I travel with it! Not heavy @ all! I wish I can post pics. Get it!
