Zoo Med Natural Aquatic Turtle Food Hatchling Formula (15 oz)

I switched to Zoo Med Aquatic Turtle Food Growth Formula because my previous brand was constantly clouding the water, and this one does not do that at all. The pellets stay floating and keep the tank clear, which has made upkeep so much easier. Best of all, my turtles love it. They come right up as soon as the pellets hit the water. I also like that it has lower protein levels to support proper shell development and healthy internal organs as they grow. The pellet size is easy for them to eat, and it works well for a variety of aquatic turtles. Made in the USA and formulated with fish oil, this has quickly become our go-to turtle food. I won’t be switching back. 🐢

I've been purchasing this turtle food for a while now because my turtles really seem to love the taste of it; does not have a strong oder- actually smells good, stays fresh, is not artificially colored, and keeps my turtles healthy. Easy to use; as soon as my turtles see me pick up the jar they swim to the top of the tank waiting for me to throw some in. They don't dirty the tank; they're low priced, but great quality.

This has been our go to turtle food. We have a red eared slider and I've cycled through several different types of food, from several pet stores. Ultimately we landed on this one and it worked. He has never had an issue eating, he put on weight and his shell cleaned up. Also, it was the best price on Amazon. 5 stars.

It's by Turtles favorite food and it doesn't smell

my three month old yellow belly turtle must be under distress from having his tank cleaned and he would not eat at all yesterday. I also thought maybe he was bored with the pellets he had so I bought this brand.. he seems to be very interested in which he has no interest in his normal food. They’re just way too big for him to eat. They’re extremely hard to break up. they don’t seem to soften up. They do float pretty good.. They seem to be pretty fresh. They were well sealed.
