LASFIT H7 Bulb

I have an ML 350 that came with standard halogen bulbs and a newer Mercedes with modern headlights. Side by side in my garage, the new Benz had bright white headlights, while the ML had yellow headlights about half as bright. I replaced all four factory bulbs with these new bulbs and now both cars have indistinguishable headlights. They are equally white and equally bright. No error codes, and they are still going strong after eight months of use.Installation was okay but it was something of a chore...not the fault of these bulbs though. I went through the fender dust covers and they went in as advertised. Some of the videos on YouTube make it look easier than it is, though.

I get the reviews on them saying it doesn’t fit or very hard to install. It was probably one of the most complex install for headlights. I had to watch a few videos on someone installing them on a headlight that was removed to understand the locking mechanisms. Once I seen that I then realized this wasn’t a one piece with the mounting tab. So I had it installed right but felt like it wasn’t due to the wiggle room it had to rotate the bulb. But I’m pleased with the results and great light output, way better then stock 2019 Tiguan halogen lights! I just drove at night 70 miles and worked great, no noticeable lines and wasn’t getting flashed by oncoming traffic or when passing others on the interstate. So fingers crossed on the upcoming months.

Great fit for a 2018 Mercedes Benz GLA 250. The fitment out the box was great, and for my model car, all was done through the wheel fender access panel. And for my surprise, the OEM dust cover was able to fit after the lamp was in place. Build looked well made and sturdy. Brightness was great, and they do have a way to control the beam angle so it don't leave oncoming drivers blind (unlike other led lamps I've seen). So far they look good and do what they are supposed to do.Also bought and installed the LED lamps for the fog light (H11) from this same brand and just like the low beam ones, the looked strong and sturdy, were easy to install and also worked great.Will update later regarding longevity .

The problem with replacing the low beam headlamp bulbs in the 2018-onward VW Tiguan is due to the cramped engine bay around the headlamps. So for most LED bulbs you have a collar / adapter that needs to be fitted and then the bulb slides into it. Due to the cramped area it is almost impossible to fit such an adapter into the Tiguan. I tried for hours to do so and failed.In comes Lasfit. Their bulb has the adapter lock in place with the bulb. You now have the base of the bulb to hold to fit in the adapter into the headlamp housing. First time fit for one bulb, though a little trouble on the second (I will come to that). Once the adapter is locked in place the bulb only can be pulled out to be inserted back correctly oriented.Love these bulbs. They are not too bright to cause glare. Once properly oriented (reinsert bulb with connecting wires straight downward - 6 o'clock orientation) the have a great beam pattern. I agree that at at least three times as bright as the halogens. Excellent purchase.The one problem I had was on one bulb where one of the two adaptor lugs was slightly bent and it would not fit under the retaining post in the headlamp housing. Once I realized that (1 hour later) I adjusted it with my finger and a first time fit.No other bulbs I could find had this type of adaptor built in. So it was my only option.

This is my third try with these LASFIT led bulbs. It was for my Mercedes GLS 450 high and low beam and it says its compatible. But after installing it, everytime my car's eco mode goes on and then off (engine starts back up) , the light flickers. I tried switching them around but the same result. I bought some of these (a different version) also for my 2 Tiguans (which amazon says it is compatible) , it actually is not. A warning light comes on and then afte a few days, either the left or right bulb starts to go on and off. These are garbage. Weeks later, these bulbs became unavailable. I have reached out to the evndor but their only solution is to put in a canbus decoder which might or might not work. Outside of that the vendor does not have any solution! The vendor should thoroughly test these before mmarketing it - it is just the responsible thing to do - otherwise you are just wating our time! Go somewhere else like the AUXITo brands or Sealight - you plu it in and they just work. No fuss!! LASFIT is garbage. they are goo only with marketing and packaging but product itself is just garbage!! Lasfit even took out some of their products last year whichI suspect is because of too much returns due to incompatibility!

Great fit for 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan! Recently purchased this vehicle used and was disappointed with how dim the headlights were and these lights quickly fixed the issue and made them a lot brighter. We travel down a lot of country roads at night and these make our drive a lot better and makes it easier to see deer standing on the side of the road. Highly recommend if you are looking for a brighter bulb for your vehicle.
