Turns a weekend warrior into a pro
(Same review as the spacers) This makes installing large tiles pretty easy!! We used 15x30 porcelain tiles with 1/8” joints and it came out nearly perfect. I’m a weekend warrior and this was the first time I’ve installed tile larger than 12x12. I will not attempt this in the future without these spacers!

This spacer system is outstanding. You can't expect to be a pro the first time you use them. After practice, even a poor tile layer or a homeowner without much experience can install a professional looking job that is perfectly flat. I have used them on shower walls and floors with perfectly flat surfaces, showers turn out perfectly flat with a 6' level for glass interfacing. The system is expensive and I would only recommend them for projects that demand a high level of flatness, on large difficult to lay large format tile, or for individuals who only want the best installation possible will less effort and can ignore the cost factor.

Love these for leveling tile
Great product for leveling tile. Super easy to use! But remember you use a lot, so purchase accordingly :)

A good system, with a bit of a learning curve
I'm in the middle of tiling a bathroom with 18x8 and 24x24 travertine. So far, I'm happy with the Prolevel system, but there are some drawbacks and things you have to learn. Most important, as you tighten the caps down onto the stems, it applies lateral pressure to the tile. You have to apply counter pressure to the tile to maintain your alignment. The system does an excellent job eliminating lippage.Second, thinset may squeeze out under the caps as you tighten them, and there is no good way to clean it out while it is still wet.Third, remember that though the field of your tile job may require the three or four way stems, depending on your layout, you will need a significant number of two way "linear" stems around the perimeter.

Barerel Parts are reusable over & over cost drops after initial investment.
Used product for bathroom tile remodels as a contractor this makes installing flush tiles on uneven surfaces simple.

Too many issues
This may be a repeat of some of the previous reviews....1. When you twist the cap it does 2 things: *It applies a twisting motion to the spacer which moves the tile...the smaller the tile the worse it is. * The twisting of the cap also wants to move the tiles as it tightens...the rotation affects all tiles under the cap.2. The squeeze out under the cap cannot be avoided and the cap creates a circle of thinset on the tiles. I now have probably 100 circles that need removed. Not a trivial task.3. When trying to tighten the cap, to align the tiles for lippage, I had several spacers break. What this means is now the tile has to be pried off the wall and a new spacer installed.Yes the product does work for lippage, but it is NOT worth the hassle. Next time I'll go with a wedge system.

Expensive but well worth the money
Joe Letendre of tile university put me on to the Progress Profiles Proleveling System. I wouldn't tile without these little gems. They save a huge amount of time and effort in trying to level tile to prevent tile lippage. Only bummer is I have to order from the United states as this product for some reason is unavailable in Canada.
