Fantastic Amp but No H/L on this model.
Very happy with this amplifier for my setup. I'm using this to power two additional 4-ohm 89db speakers using low-level RCA output from my head unit. I had initially installed a Pyle amp with similar specs but the output was terrible and had to compensate with 100% gain--even then the output was low and had a noticeable hiss. Swapped for the Taramps and it was a WOLD of a difference. Set it to 25% input sensitivity (head unit puts out 2.5V) and it provides clear, powerful amplification matching the output of my head unit's speakers. Simply no comparison. *The only thing I'll mention is this unit does not have high-level inputs. They make an identical model WITH H/L for just a couple dollars more. I don't require H/L but it's something I overlooked when purchasing this unit.

The used one doesn’t come with a taramp sticker
Very good amp good power. mines was missing one terminal screw but I had extra one so it’s not big of a deal. Very good product

Small, powerful, clean
Pros: Small foot print yet delivers true rms power. Easy to set crossover. Only options are low pass, full, or high pass. Taramp does a good job of setting ideal pass through frequencies. So no need to fuss with fine tuning desired sound. This is great for quick setup for beginners and intermediate enthusiasts. (Some advanced enthusiasts may like this for a daily driver setup too.) No alternator whine or hum noticed like some reviews. Just make sure to match gain settings to head unit. If you set gain settings too high, you will get noise, just as with any amp. So those other reviews may have set the gains too high. Cons: Terminals are small and will fit smaller gauge wire (12-18) only. Strange that channels share a +/- terminal. But it works. Only 3 crossover settings, which limits customization, but could be a good thing if you’re looking for simplicity. Overall, I’ve been installing car stereos for over 30 years, and I would choose this amp for my daily driver. It’s powerful, small, and provides clean sound.

I have 2 of theses amps now, no issues
nice cheap amp for my door speakers. Plenty loud for me but I'm not using them for stereo competitions lol

Good things, small packages yada yada
I took a gamble on this as I wanted a tiny amp to run my 6.5" door speakers while tucked behind the front console trim. This did the trick size wise. I've watched a number of Taramps videos on YouTube, so I was pretty confident it would make decent power (compared to other tiny no-name amps) and it does. Hopefully it proves to be durable. I'm running it bridged with the gain barely off the minimum as my Kickers handle 100wrms each. They go to full volume on my Pioneer receiver without losing quality. The preset crossover setpoints are no problem as I leave them in full and use my receivers crossovers and eq settings. Also, I have no noise that some reviews mention. Perhaps those folk have ground loop issues? Anyway I'll definitely keep Taramps on my radar for future amps. Update 2/15/2025: I bought my second Taramps for another vehicle. My first amp is working great so it was a natural choice to pop in my winter beater. I installed this one behind the headunit as it was a media receiver with extra space.

Hopefully just defective unit
Received amp very quickly. Cudos to delivery driver. Connected amp up in house first. Kinda makeshift lab of sorts. 12V 30a regulated supply. Connecting power and remote easy peasy. Same with speakers. Although Taramps has unique methodology. 4 speakers, 2 of which are wired in series (new one on me?). Clearly amp isn’t happy with low impedance. With RCA cables connected, but no incoming signal. Slowly increased gain. The amp power supply was connected to voltmeter/ammeter. Before any gain adjustment, 12.2 volts and 0 amp(s). Increasing gain acted like an output stage bias adjustment. No signal, but current draw increasing substantially. Included a video. The RCA cables were disconnected and gain set approximately 20-25%. Starts at 0 amps, and all by itself increases to nearly 4 amps, then back down to 0 (protection circuit?). In the space of maybe 30ish seconds heat sink went from 73F to 103F. All speaker cables properly connected. No dead or partial shorts. Sending back to Amazon for refund. To test my lab rig connected ~15 year old 100wpc class AB plate amp. Worked great; no power, noise, or over current issues.

Solid starter amplifier
Good amp, packs a lot of power, very small profile. Had an issue when bridged and alternator noise, but got fixed by using an RCA splitter. Noise ground is very high. Runs cool, easy to install.

Wow, pretty impressive little amp.Im running 6.5" mids and 2" tweets-bridged 2 channel.Very little gain and it's loud as .... Runnings 125rms mids/tweets,no problem sound's really good for what it is.Gonna get some 6x9 for the rear if not loud enough 4 channel, I will buy another amp.I have no engine/alternator noise I have a ground filter but not needed.Im surprised my cb has terrible alternator noise thats what ground filter is for now.Im sure it could run low watt subs ok.Perfect match for my needs. My camping truck nice loud party stereo! Front speakers in boxs/tweets Velcro strips- can move around to sound better outside! Cant wait to piss off big foot lol In a few months I will leave another updated review. Update: Had to add a stinger loop filter before amp noticed altenator whine now its completely gone.Going to try more Brasil made audio in the future.

I seen the great reviews on this amp so I just had to try it. I'm thinking to myself there's no way this is going to be a decent 4-channel amp for that price. Then when I receive the amp the thing is so tiny I almost returned it without even trying it. There's just no way in hell such a small amp could put out any kind of power unless it's full of distortion. This thing is ridiculous! It puts out such clean power with such a small size I want to buy shares in this company! I just can't believe it. It is crazy clear and crazy loud!

Es compacto, tengo conectadas dos bocinas deaf bounce de 130 rms a 4 ohms en modo bridge y con todo el volumen abajo las levanta sin exigirle al amplificador.

Great amp for the price, I've got one bridged running my front seperates and another one bridged running my rear seperates. The only complaint I have is the fixed crossover point, but I just have the crossover set to full and I use the high pass filter on my Kenwood head unit instead. But it's a great addition to your system, especially if you've only got an amp running your subs. This little amp helps boost your mids and highs so you get better clarity with your system. And the amp kit I used was the Recoil 8 gauge kit.
