AFX/Racemasters Formula Cars, MG+ (2), AFX22017

I am not a HO guru, I have a set-up that I leave up and when I just need some relaxing no-mind activity away from all the pressures of life it is run to spin the cars for 1/2 hour. I have about 25 diff cars. Some quite old from childhood (never threw them out.. lucky me) but most purchased within the last year.The F1 cars, as the headline reads are 'The Fastest, best sticking HO Cars I have Ever Owned'. They are the Mega G+ cars, with the F1 bodies on them being very light compared to full bodied cars. That mega G+ and light weigh mean these cars are so fast, and stick to the track so well, one's eyes have trouble keeping up with them. There are so good I bought a second set of 2 (still in package) should the 1st set ever wear out. Almost don't want to write a review and horde these cars for myself :)

These cars are exactly what I expected! They handle the turn like AFX formula car is supposed to and the are very fast!

I have a late 1980 to 1990 Tyco track, once the track was up and working cars Work great, they will not how ever work on the switch track pieces, the pickup shoes have to sharp of a bend and catch the track. Top quality cars, worth the money,

As the other reviews have said these cars handle best, and are especially notable in tighter inside radius turns. I believe this is because the chassis on these cars is longer when compared to other AFX carsThat I own. They sit lower. They make a little more noise since they ride lower. . Most of the other single cars I buy from AFX have the shorter chassis.

Just what I was looking for, and hard to find! Would like the price to be a bit less but very happy with this item!

Using std 120 ohm controller, they are very controllable. One car is much smoother and faster than the other, but that may change with break-in.
