Set up was easy and fuss free. The sound is very crisp and the volume, should you need it to be, operates at a loud range. What I really like is the aerial thickness. Solid base fixture, sturdy and strong not flimsy and weak like some other more expensive units I've previously owned. Nice clean lines and a joy to own. Sits in my kitchen and gives me the performance I want. Highly recommended representing great value too.

Attractive design, really dinky so fits anywhere , but surprisingly strong sound.

We are exceptionally pleased with this radio. I spent hours researching different ones and reading customer reviews, especially as our previous DAB radios (that used AA batteries) never ran for long before needing fresh batteries. This small radio **PR2-Max** produces a pleasing sound from it's one speaker, and we are using it on it's built-in battery. Since Xmas day it has been on all day, at volume 3 (bars) as background music running for 8-10 hours a day and the battery is lasting for 3 days, so we are actually getting 24-30 hours of battery life at volume 3 (bars), which I think is phenomenal. **PR2-MAX I CHOSE HAS THE BUILT-IN BATTERY, and bigger screen, the older small-screen version uses AA batteries** Despite being in a town we have really poor DAB reception indoors (thick house walls and roof) meaning that many radios (both terrestrial and especially DAB simply do not pick up reception indoors. I took it outdoors (where reception is fine) to do the initial scan for stations, and once that was done (99 stations straight away) I then took the radio indoors, and it works recieving good clear reception, which tells me that the tuner electronics are of a better quality to other portable radios that we have had, tried, given up on. Really really pleased with this PR2-MAX. It will occasionally be used away from the home and mains electricity, and hence our need for portability and good battery life. There is a mains adaptor and shielded power lead (usb-c) included in the box.

The original order never turned up but having rung customer service the problem was resolved. This radio is good value for money it can be played on a mains or is battery operated,no need to buy batteries as they are enclosed In the radio and when plugged into the mains the battery charges automatically. Its ideal for the summer when out in the garden etc no need for plugging in reception is good and playback is also good.aAll in all a fine little product .

Bought as a modestly priced replacement for a more expensive item which packed up. Used in the kitchen so probably not all the features are fully tested but the build quality is good, volume and clarity very good. The tuning is straightforward and it’s simple to use. Would recommend.

Good little radio that you can keep in the kitchen. Instructions are very very confusing however with a bit of help you can get it started. Goes well with kitchen

Got the radio for my camper van. Set up was easy enough. My son had to do the preset buttons 😂 Works fine with batteries or on the mains. It’s very small, but I think I’m less likely to break it, as it is. I wanted a Denver radio I bought a year ago, but they don’t seem to do them anymore.
