This product is perfect for my dog and cat food containers! It’s big enough to fill a giant bag of dog food and keeps it closed tightly so I don’t have to worry about anything getting in them. Very durable and sturdy. I have them stacked on top of each other and it looks great and it is very well priced when I was looking for something to keep the animals food in. Definitely recommend.

UPDATE: FYI, I found these at dept stores w broken lids likely from being dropped. Watched youtubes showing animals opening them. (My experience was excellent, though).~IMPORTANT!This definitely stores A LOT MORE THAN "dog food"! This LITERALLY can store your BUSINESS PRODUCTS, KID'S TOYS, NON-PERISHABLE FOODS, things that are collectively HEAVY and require PROTECTION.Why? Because the material is a VERY HARD PLASTIC, so it feels like it's not meant for collectively light loads.OVERALL!WOOOW, I am VEEERY impressed. Most of my product reviews tend to be critical, but this one was EXACTLY AS ADVERTIZED!At first, it seemed tall, like it wasn't stackable, until I looked again at the images, and TURNED IT OVER, and whoala! It IS!I was super stoked the lid sealed very tightly! What a relief, NOTHING LIKE the cheap ones at Marshalls, et! SO WORTH THE WAIT!No complaints of any kind whatsoever, on the contrary! Sturdy, airtight, great value! I bought two, love that they stack, huge space saver!They're easy to open, but keep animals out of the food.

Second one we’ve purchased. Great for dog food especially when you have multiple pets. Very sturdy. Only con is that they don’t sit easily on top of each other

I purchased three different Vittles Vault airtight, stackable pet food containers: two 40-pound containers and one 60-pound container. The two smaller containers are for storing the two different cat foods we feed them, and the larger container is for our large dogs. The cats’ foods come in 18 to 20-pound bags, and the dogs’ food comes in 50-pound bags. We purchased this brand and style because we wanted something that would not attract pests, take up the least amount of space, and match our grey decor. This product fits our needs perfectly.I have read other reviews that ding the containers because they don’t keep out rats, and then bugs and ants get in through the holes the rats create. That’s not a critique on how airtight the containers are, that’s just evidence of the known fact that a rat with motivation(hunger is a great one) and enough time can chew through anything. How does the rat smell the food inside if it is air-tight? Police dogs can smell contraband that is locked inside sealed, air-tight containers inside plastic bags inside other containers because plastic itself is permeable to molecules. As far as these containers are concerned, I feel that the rubber gasket around the lid provides enough of an air-tight seal to keep out bugs and other minor pests. I twist them closed with one hand, and then I have trouble opening them with one hand because the seal is so tight. The threading is done in such a way that it’s hard to cross-thread the lids, or in other words, to screw the lid on when it’s not straight.I was concerned that the large dog food bag that weighs 50 pounds would overflow from the 60-pound container when positioned with the opening on the side instead of the top, but it is actually the perfect size. Even when freshly-filled, the dog food doesn’t spill out when opened. There’s even room for the included cup scoop or my 3-cup metal scoop that I purchased here on Amazon, seen pictured.The similarly-sized containers stack nicely, but when I put the two smaller containers on top of the larger container, there was a bit of a wobble. It doesn’t help to lean it against a wall because the smaller containers sit in the center of the larger one, and thus can’t be supported on the outside. I feel like it would fall over pretty easily if someone wasn’t looking and stumbled into it, but would be fine in our normal, daily use.Overall, these pet food containers fit our needs very well and the competition I saw while shopping didn’t come close, so I highly recommend trying this brand. 5/5 stars
