I have an older Black & Decker tree saw. The battery finally gave up the ghost but the saw was in excellent condition. These batteries were worth the price, charged up nicely and power my saw great

Good for th money

My dad got me a cordless drill for my birthday a year or two ago and even though it's not the fanciest one it worked great and I got a lot of use out of it. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it was a bad idea to leave it plugged in in the winter in Michigan in an unheated garage. That's bad for NI-CD batteries apparently! I was considering just buying a new drill since batteries are usually almost as expensive as a new tool but since this was a gift from my Dad I decided to go with a new battery. This replacement battery is an NI-Mh which apparently is much more forgiving than the original NI-CD battery and so far it is working like a champ and holds a good charge. It looks identical to the old one and fits my drill perfectly.

The batteries work well. I have used both of them for over a year. They have kept a strong charge.

Purchased this item as a replacement Black and Decker battery for our BD Grasshog string trimmer. The original batteries that came with it lost their ability to hold a charge after about 7 years. The rather expensive BD replacement only lasted two years.The battery fits perfectly, no adjustments needed. Surprisingly powerful. Time will tell how well it will hold up but for half price of the original one, its a Thumbs Up for now.
