I have a small yard in Chicago. The short story: our grass was weakening and turning yellow. It was green enough to NOT re-sod, so I figured I'd try this product. I couldn't believe how great it looked! You can see some before, during, and after pictures I added. I think it worked best when I sprayed form 1-2 feet away (so it didn't make obvious bright contrasting green spots) and then I sprayed water on everything to spread it around. I tried to make it look natural. Also- it could be easy to accidentally spray flowers/other plants. I am so happy with this product! The longer story - we love our small yard and garden!!! We sodded it, added a tree, bushes, hostas, and each year I love to add different annual flowers. When we sodded, it was in the middle of summer in 2021 (not the ideal timing). We bought special sod for shaded lawns. It was great until the end of the summer in 2022. I did a lot of over seeding and plenty of water to maintain it over the entire time. Ultimately we decided to re-sod at the end of summer 2022 (or very early fall). Unfortunately the only sod available was made for sunny lawns, which we don't have. It is only about $50 to sod our small lawn, so we did it even though we knew it could be bad when our yard is shaded over the summer. The sunny sod looked great all winter and spring. When summer came, it started to get yellow and thin. I know the battle of over seeding, and thought I'd try something else first. This product has saved me! It looks great! I will see how long this will work for us until we decide to re-sod with grass made for shaded lawns.

This product works-ish and the grass has stayed green for several weeks now. It’s a bit fake looking when it’s applied to the grass but it somehow works, I don’t know if I like the color but it somewhat-ish works. I don’t actually remember there being a smell to it, so if there’s one it’s not strong. The only issue comes toward the end of the bottle, when spraying gets tricky. Since you have to tilt it down toward the lawn, the remaining liquid shifts forward and doesn’t reach the hose properly. Also, it doesn’t cover a large area, so you’ll definitely need multiple bottles or a bigger size if you’re treating more lawn.

Very disappointed. It works okay for the first few sprays and then it starts dripping down the side and the spray is inconsistent. It would be better if it was a misting type spray bottle. Definitely not worth it for the little bit of coverage you're going to get.

My new lawn has all died. Started with dog pee spots. I did water it, but alas it’s all dead and brown. If you needed to cover just some brown dog pee spots, great for that. Not great to hide a big dead or brown area. Just looks fake, but do recommend for small areas. If you spray paint the spots, the rest of the lawn might grow over dog burn spots eventually? Very easy to apply. Like it’s not toxic to anything living.

this is really an amazing item and covers the grass so beautifully. Before you order, though, check to make sure you are choosing the right color. I started with the “cool” and it was a little too dark, almost closer to an Evergreen. I then ordered thx “warm” end it matched much better. just a note for application, you cannot spray it directly on the patch because it’ll force too much color, I would suggest spraying it almost like you would spray paint, one pump and just lightly spray across back-and-forth until you get the desired color. The color is strong, but I also found that if you rinse the lawn right away while the paint is wet, it will rinse it right out and you can start over.

Neon. Looked like I sprayed Easter grass on my lawn. It did stay through the rain but color was way off.

Spray bottle isn’t the greatest but this instantly fixes those brown spots your dog may make in the summer. Up close you can still tell the grass is dead but looking across the lawn it makes it all uniform and the spots totally disappear.

I was getting lots of people to look at my garden and had large white spots from a weed killer. After a week or so of seeding and watering, I needed help fast! I ordered it and it worked like a charm. Its not dark green, no matter how many coats you use, but like a 💚 green. However in the sun or dappled light you cant really tell. We had a big downpour and it didn't wash off. Works best in patches/areas of 6 inchs and under. Thank you so much for saving the day.

Used this to cover up yellow spots from my dogs when people were coming over. Definitely does the trick!
