As described these are bright and cast light very well. The light replaced a high pressure sodium light and I'm very happy so far. The lens and case seem pretty durable and was easy to wire. The short falls are that you should be able to disconnect the front from the back for ease of installation. I had to do this by removing the screws and glue that hold the led starters to the back plate. It's almost impossible to install the light from a ladder with the front cover in place. The wires were stripped back to short but that's not a big deal. The front cover internals looked almost painted over oxidation. These housings might have been sitting out and got wet or they are reconditioned. The exterior looks fine and that's what counts anyways. Can't beat the price, we will see how long it lasts.

hard to mount very heavy , take multi people to hold and drive screws to mount

I’ve been happy with all the wall packs I’ve ordered and am still happy with these but they are not as easy to instal as others. First all the others I’ve bought used either a Philips or 5/6” hex to hold the cover closed but these use an odd size Allen. Not that big of a deal just an annoyance. Second all the others had a plug inside so you could separate the 2 pieces for easier install but these are hard wired. I ended up taking the 4 screws out that hold the 2 power packs and the 1 ground and then had to pry them off the back as they were stuck down with some kind of putty. After that I just had the back and was able to mount it just fine. So far great lights, looks great, really bright and great value just a little more irritating to instal.

Have to leave the front cover on during install makes install difficult

Product is orb not black. We had to spray them since the return was over the Amt of days. Very disappointed as we looked for black specifically and still had to paint them.

Awesome lights! I used these to replace two old halide fixtures and these are so far superior in both quality and quantity of light. The output is better than anticipated and the diffusers spread the light very nicely.Now, here is the information I would have liked to have when I was waffling about taking a chance on these lights; I have a parking lot in front of my building that is 100' long and 50' deep. I have the lights mounted 12' from the ground, 35' apart spaced equally on the building which is 85' long and approximately centered on the parking lot. The light along the whole width of the building is excellent out to about 35' where it starts to fall off but by no means is it inadequate. In fact, I walked across the street and I was still casting a very distinct shadow. Because I was replacing existing fixtures, the placement of the lights is not optimal. If I was doing a new install, I would put them higher up but this is only to further maximize the amount of light distribution. They are more than adequate for the space I have. In the photos; the wide angle is standing across a four-lane street from the building. The other is standing at one extreme end of the parking lot.The only downside I found with the lights is the change over from one type to this one. The ballasts in these fixtures are placed in a poor location for getting power into the back of the housing. Again, I am dealing with a retrofit not a new install. Also, the wires that go from the ballasts to the LED array have no plug or other way to disconnect them. It would have been much, much easier to install the housing on the side of my building if I could have removed the cover completely which you cant unless you cut the wires.I was also disappointed to find that they did not include the "dawn to dusk" sensor as the listing says. I bought photocell switches at Lowes for a few bucks and put them in.

Great product

Nice bright light, but I'm taking off 2 stars because the quick connects that the instructions say should be there aren't. So the two halves of the light can't be separated easily -- you either have to screw in the whole bulky and heavy light, or clip the wires between the 2 halves.At first I thought I could just unscrew the LED drivers to separate the two halves, but they are glued down and I was afraid of breaking them if I tried to pry them off.So, I clipped the wires to make it easier to install the light, I didn't have any quick connects, so used some red crimp connectors -- make sure you pay attention to the wire pairs if you do this, since it's otherwise hard to see how they connect to the light modules to keep the right pairs together. The wires are super fine, so it's hard to twist them together to insert into the barrel connector, and they were a little too small for the barrel connectors, so you need to hold the wires into place with one hand and crimp with the other while standing on a ladder.Crimping those wires was the most time consuming part of the install and would have been completely unnecessary if the wires had the quick connects that were mentioned in the documentation.

Have installed many. Most have been good. Had issues with cheap photocells on a few . Seller replaced no problem. Just inconvenient. But on the last batch both drivers failed in one, so I had to go replace it for free. Again. Amazon general warranty was useless.I can’t keep using this brand if they are failing so regularly snd have to go swap out
