As a strength and condition coach and certified athletic trainer, my clients and athlete’s are required to have a daily soft tissue practice that includes self-myofascial release on a quality foam roller. It is an important component of our programming in order to maintain, and improve soft tissue quality as it relates to recovery, hypertrophy, and successful training practices.These daily routines utilizing a foam roller become integral to the point where many people have several choices of foam rollers that they keep in their homes and use at their workout facilities. However, they are awkward to travel with. This has become an issue with many of my clients because they rely on soft tissue release and trigger point management especially when subjected to a great deal of airline travel. This roller solves not only the travel issue, but also allows easy storage in an office, automobile, backpack, or any room in the home.It collapses flat to 1.5” thick!! It is very light, but very durable. It will support up to 350 lbs. You pull on the end strings and it locks into a full functioning foam roller. A quick press on each end of the cylinder sends the roller back into it’s flat state. Brilliant!!As I also alluded to in the title, you are not settling for an inferiorly designed foam roller because of it portability. This is literally one of the more effective foam rollers I have used. Its size is perfect and the textured nubs on the exterior seem to be just the right amount of hardness and irregularity to get into most problem areas of the body. I highly recommend you purchase this awesome product so you can have a high quality foam roller with you pretty much wherever you need it!

I LOVE THIS FOAM ROLLER!!! I am a neat freak at home and I travel a lot for work, so this is perfect for me. I can tuck it away in plain sight at home and pull it out daily. Best part is my kids don't know where it is so they can't find it and use it as a toy (or weapon of home destruction). I travel quite a bit for work and I try to workout when gone, and if I do not use my roller travel back is no bueno. This tucks into my bag without taking up enough room to even notice. This has saved my hips and hamstrings on my last few trips. Awesome product!

I've rated this item with 4 stars rather than 5 as I don't think I've used it enough to be able to to comment on durability. We have taken it along on 2 weekend local driving trips out of town and found it to be convenient to pack. We're used to travelling with the smaller Trigger Point roller, but that one doesn't collapse down and takes up a lot of room in a suitcase; the Brazyn wins hands down on that score. It is not quite as firm as a Triggerpoint and the first time I opened it up, it collapsed once on me when I started to use it, but that is probably operator error, being too early in the morning prior to a race. I'm guessing I didn't pull the end pieces firmly enough to have it lock in place. Once I realized that, it has been fine. We have a 2-week trip coming up which involves international air travel, so that should provide me with durability experience and I'll update this review.

great product for those who use foam rollers and travel or just hate seeing a foam roller standing up in the corner of a room. I use it for traveling - It's a "no brainer" if you want to travel with a foam roller. Reduces volume in the suitcase for sure and is light weight. The only reason that i put 4 stars for sturdiness is that you need to make sure you "lock" in the sides by the easy pull of the built-in cords (i didn't the first time and it collapsed while rolling - but that was my fault). I definitely recommend this product.

So far, so good! My husband is addicted to his foam roller and when we travel, which is A LOT, he often brings a small version of his larger one and it takes up a lot of room. This collapsible one is the perfect option! It takes up very little room compared to the one that's the same size but doesn't collapse. He's a big guy (6'3 and 225lb) and it holds up well for him. It was his favorite Christmas gift from me this year.

I have a degenerating spine and need to decompress it with a roller regularly. I like to travel and this is PERFECT. Totally worth the money. Went to Scotland with me and was super helpful. It’s an intense roll and you need be sure the end circles are fully in place. If you travel and need a back or muscle roller, this is it. Worth the expense. Fits perfectly even into a carryon suitcase.

I used this roller for a trip to Europe earlier this month. It performed very well. The roller never collapsed on itself. It was a great tool to have after a long flight. I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a portable roller. I purchased the less aggressive roller. I wished I bought the more aggressive profiled one.

Was checked out by my Chiropractor and my massage therapist and both approved it. Fits in my small suitcase and then pops up to be worked on with no problem. Much better then trying to figure out how to take my large roller.
