Overall, this is an extremely good tripod that is probably the best bang for your buck you can get.What are the pros?- Great fluid head movement- typically fluid heads alone would cost more than the whole unit you get with the Magnus.- Advanced features present such as the ground spikes that can be used when you need it to get better traction in outdoor environments such as grass/soil. Also has the bowl mount that allows you to quickly adjust the head to get the shot aligned- so if your shot is wonky you don't have to adjust the legs independently, you just have to move the bowl until the spirit level is good. Sounds like a small feature but I can't tell you how many times I've used it and how much time it's saved me!Cons:- Doesn't feel as solid as some of my other previous tripods like aluminium and carbon fibre ones. I feel like I can't beat this tripod up too much. But as long as you take care of it, it shouldn't let you down.- Base plate system it comes with is fixed. I tend to use the manfrotto baseplates across my system of tripod, slider, glidecam so it was a slight inconvenience to have to use a new type of plate. But there is a workaround to this, you just have to screw the desired Base plate receiver to the top of the plate that Magnus provides.But all in all, one of the best tripods I've used. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to someone!

For anyone moving up to Fluid Head movement, this is real quality value.
Wow this VT4000 is like getting into a Rolls Royce as it oozes quality, strength and the Fluid Head is a dream for slow panning.Nothing more to say other than I don't see how anyone could not be impressed with this tripod and the price is unbelievable compared with other expensive models.Well done Magnus and also Amazon Prime for a next day Sunday delivery.

Best video tripod for DLSR camera in this price range.
I would say this is one of the best fluid head tripods you can get that is suitable for a DSLR camera in this price range. Lovely quality, nice smooth motion, my only small complaint would be I wished it could be adjusted to go up slightly higher but other than that I am extremely happy with the product.
