Taos Footwear Women's Encore Flat

I bought these shoes based on reviews for great travel shoes. We haven’t been on our trip yet, but I’ve been wearing the shoes to work and shopping etc. they are very comfortable and the insole removes easily to fit my insert. I wear a 9.5 usually, but the 9 fits me fine even with my insert. They seem to be a solid, well made shoe.

These are a bit expensive, but after trying a different brand of shoes on our last trip to Europe that were not as well made (and of course less expensive which left me with blisters and very sore feet), I decided to splurge a bit for our next trip and try to avoid the foot pain. So far I have done some walking in these and I think they are going to be much, much better. The reason I tried this brand for these shoes is that I had taken a pair of sandals on our trip as well that were mady by Taos and they totally saved me during the last half of our trip as I ended up wearing them the whole time. They were super comfortable. The shoes seem well made and I think they are very comfortable while still looking cute and staying away from having to wear tennis shoes. I feel these are the perfect shoes for our upcoming trip in both style and comfort.

These shoes are very comfortable and fit as per the size guide. There is good arch support and they are well made and long lasting. This is my second pair.

I got these for a 3 week trip to Europe--I wanted comfortable walking shoes that still looked nice. These definitely get high marks for look and quality construction. However, I have never had so many blisters in my life. I wore these for a solid week before the trip to make sure they were broken in. No problems. Then about a week into the trip, the blisters started--and the worst were the blisters on the bottom of my heels. Never gotten blisters there before, but I can tell you that they were super painful. I spent several days kind of limping around. So I don't know if I have weird feet or if there's something off about the sole of these shoes. Any any rate, I was disappointed and won't be buying again.

Comfortable and well made. These are stylish and good for walking all day.

Great looking shoes. Had a bit more heel than I expected but would probably have been ok. However, I have a narrow foot and even the medium widths are just too wide. Foot slid all around in the shoe.

I already have these in maroon & brown, so no surprises. I like the fit as they're wide and high enough for the upper, fleshy part of my foot. I have had heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, & multiple knee surgeries and still need 2 more surgeries, so comfort is key for me. These are probably my favorite shoes in the last 6 years. I have 3 pairs in total and keep buying more. They are even ok with a thicker sock and orthopedic heel insert.
