⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent freezer packs – long-lasting and well made
These Arctic Tundra Series freezer packs have been fantastic. They kept my frozen food frozen during a cross-country road trip using only a mid-priced cooler ($65–$75), which really impressed me. I also used one on a trail ride, and when we stopped for lunch, the water bottles—started at room temperature—had actually begun to freeze. That says a lot about how cold and consistent these packs stay. They’re made from high-quality plastic that’s durable and easy to clean when not frozen. The integrated handle is a great touch and makes them easy to move and position in a cooler. One tip: if you store these at room temperature, be sure to put them in the freezer a few days in advance and set your freezer colder than usual. These packs are dense and take some time to fully freeze—but once they do, they perform extremely well. They’ve worked perfectly for my needs. I currently own three XL (5 lb) packs and four L (2.5 lb) packs and will continue to buy more as needed. It’s really nice not having to stop for ice every day. Highly recommend.

It works if you're smart
They stay cold - but you have to freeze them for a few days before first usage. Anyone saying it doesn't last more than 12 hours is user error. I use one in my Yeti Hopper 18 - kept my lunch and leftovers cold all day. Packed 2 for a 8 hour road trip and the cooler (another Yeti) sat overnight in my car and half way through the next day in 90 degree weather, and it was still frozen. The type of coole ryou use matters

Good product
It takes a minute to freeze but once it does it is bad to the bone at keeping things cold in a cooler

Save Your Money
What a rip off!! I have a freezer that is turned way down. They were in there for 3 days and frozen solid along with a couple of cheap blue ones from the big box store. I placed all of them in a cooler with a variety of refrigerated drinks. After 3 hours in an air conditioned vehicle we reached our destination. It was hot outside but the cooler was in the shade. After a couple hours in this climate they were completely thawed and just cool to the touch. In contrast, my cheap blue ones were frozen still after another 24 hours. What an overpriced marketing gimmick this is. I will never buy this brand again and I wanted to support USA products. Total failure, Overpriced, waste of money!!

Meat trip
I bought these for our trip from Wisconsin to Florida for some frozen steaks I was planning on taking with us. Work great for our 3 day trip the meat a little thawed but still ice cold.

These Things Are Pretty Cool... Pun Intended!
So I like that these are made in the USA. I go out of my way to buy stuff that is, and it's usually worth it. I moved to the boons a bit ago and there are some stores I like to shop at that are a good drive away, so I've been using my cooler to do shopping every few weeks. I wanted to get more/better cold packs since I'm using them all the time now. These sounded sweet because they retain more cold, and can actually keep things frozen, so I figured I'd try them. Fun Fact: My beater 2nd fridge I have in the basement doesn't even get cold enough in the freezer to actually freeze these solid! I've sort of used that to my advantage in that I don't necessarily want things to turn to ice in the chest all the time... BUT when I do I've tossed these in my full size GE fridge and they of course get hard as a rock, and will then ACTUALLY freeze stuff they're in contact with. Pretty sweet since most similar products won't actually keep things frozen, just really cold. These also don't deform and bulge like some others I have, which is nice. In short they're just better engineered. I think Some of the reviewers who mention these "melting" quickly don't get what's going on. These things won't freeze solid until a lower temperature than many similar products... The reverse of that means they go liquid at a lower temperature too. However they will still be just as cold as another pack that is still solid. But ultimately they can retain more "coldness" if you will, and keep things proper frozen, because of the properties they have. I've had these melt and still have stuff be cold as heck in the cooler. I will probably snag some more of these when I need to in the future as I'm quite happy with the way they work.

if its not working your freezer may not be cold enough .. or....
adding on to previous review - I've seen comments about how this product is not working etc etc. It could be that your freezer isn't cold enough or you didn't keep it in long enough. I've been through those issues and had to adjust on my end. Once it turns bluish white its ready. Any hit of purple its not. Or maybe the liquid inside wasn't up to spec? could be any one of these if its not working properly. previous post: This product is incredible. We line the bottom of our coolers and place our bag of ice directly onto it so the ice stays frozen. If you need to keep product frozen, sandwich the items between 2 of these cooler packs. If you can wrap it in bubble foil or a mylar sheet better yet. A friend who lives in an area with occasional rolling blackouts, lines his freezer with these packs and its saved his contents on more than one occasion. Some tipts: - it needs to "cure" in the freezer for at least 3 days. Put it on the bottom so its not exposed to warm air during the open/closing process until it turns bluish-white. - don't take it in carry on baggage as an "ice pack" as if/when it turns back into its purple liquid form you will have to surrender it to TSA. - whatever it makes contact with it will freeze so never put it in direct contact with anything that shouldn't be frozen like your beer! They have different series of Tundra ice packs for this purpose.

Kinda disappointed
I bought these for our travels around Texas. I’m disappointed with these for a few reasons. First, they take forever to freeze in my deep freeze freezer. When I taken them out they just don’t last for very long. I have some cheap Igloo Blue ice packs that stay frozen for much longer where I might get a day out of these packs. I’ve used them in several sized yeti coolers, and they fall short of my expectations.
