I ordered this bath for my dog. I have a hairless breed, a Chinese Crested. Their skin must be kept clean, which I've been finding very difficult, as I only have a shower room which makes 'bathing' her very difficult. I have to get undressed and get under the shower with her. If I stand her on the floor, I have to kneel to shower her & then I can't get up. If I stand her on the shower stool, it rocks terribly as the floor slopes towards the drain, & makes her shake & she tries to jump off. Seeing the state of her spotty skin, I decided I had to try a bath on a stand, to help my back. I'm riddled with arthritis, so any bending means I then have to take pain medication & then lie flat. I looked at the dog baths on stands & they started at about £99, so as the breed is classed as a toy breed & only small, I decided to look at the baby baths on a stand. I looked at every baby bath on Amazon. I wanted a plug with drain hole & finally decided on this bath as I thought it was the best value. It arrived earlier than stated; the seller kept me informed of every stage of the process & I'm absolutely thrilled to bits with this bath. It's sturdy, doesn't wobble as the stand goes either side of the drainage slope & is the perfect size for my Chinese Crested. I don't have to get undressed anymore to bath her. I can put the plug in to have a diluted Hibiscrub solution to wash her all over, then pull the plug out to drain the dirty water away & then use the shower to make sure she's totally rinsed clean. I see no reason why it shouldn't be just as good for a baby. I cannot recommend this item highly enough. I can now bath my dog daily & get on top of her skin problems without being laid up for an hour or 2 afterwards. Thank you Tega.
