Best salad spinner ever!
Best salad spinner I’ve ever owned! The one-button control is so nice for those of us who have arthritis or other conditions that make it difficult to grip a knob or handle. It operates easily and smoothly with minimum effort—no strength required. And it truly is a one-hand operation because of the anti-skid ring on the bottom.I’m also very happy that the mesh pattern of the basket is small enough that I can rinse my homegrown sprouts in the spinner too!I’m going to buy another Brieftons spinner for hand washing delicate items that contain hooks and wires, plus my sun visors, and anything else I can think of where maintaining shape is important. No more hand-wringing or squeezing between towels for me!The convenience of locking down the pusher gizmo for storage is a great feature too. I am SO satisfied with this salad spinner! It’s easy and fun to use, easy to clean, has a very attractive design, and is well worth the purchase price.

Not your mama's salad spinner!
The media could not be loaded. Over and over we've been meaning to get a salad spinner, but we wouldn't think about it until dinner was being prepped and we'd once again face the not-so-fun task of washing the greens and drying it off. It takes a ridiculous amount of time. That's all in the past! Thank heavens I discovered the listing for Briefton's Quick Dry Salad Spinner. It is the bomb! Solidly built, will last for years, very modestly priced, and 10 times more efficient than the hand-cranked spinner my mother used to use.Making salads is no longer the most time-consuming part of preparing a meal - it's the easiest, quickest part! The plunger is easy to push down and turns the interior basket incredibly fast. Leaves are dry in no time. And the brake button is invaluable - there's no waiting for the spin to stop, just push the button and Boom!-you're done.We use the interior basket as a colander to run water over the greens, then put the basket in the outer bowl for a quick spin - voila. If we have salad left over, it easily stores in the bowl with its tight-fitting lid.As it says on the box, this unit will do most any other drying job you can think of, such as spinning out excess water from pasta-now that's a great trick.First, we got the Briefton's Spiralizer, which is excellent and has been a much-used appliance ever since we got it. Briefton's incredibly efficient vegetable peeler is also a staple in the kitchen. And now this top-notch spinner is the best thing we've added to our kitchen arsenal of tools in ages.Thank you, Briefton's!

How did I ever manage without this wonderful spinner?
I was unable to use my old spinner as it had a crank and my fingers just could crank the way they use to. My hands would ache so after spinning. So then I purchased the Brieftons QuckDry Salad Spinner and I love it. I can spin as long as I like, the bowl is large enough for a head of lettuce (and other things), and I just drain out the water and set the whole thing in the frig. As I prepare a meal, just pop out of the frig and put together a fresh crisp salad. So easy to clean. I am very pleased with this purchase, just wish I had purchased sooner. If you are looking for a spinner that is easy on your hands and does a wonderful job...try this one you will not be disappointed. Thank you Brieftons.

Good size and easy to spin but slow
It is large enough and easy to spin but the spin speed is somewhat slower than I expected.

MORE THAN JUST A SALAD SPINNER
I wanted one of these for a long time but never got around to getting one. Then, a few weeks ago, I purchased a wok (also on Amazon) and took some lessons. One of the first things the instructor taught was to be sure everything you cooked in the wok was a dry as possible. Since a lot of the veggies I was using came from our garden and needed to be washed a salad spinner became kind of a necessity. I looked at a lot of reviews and finally decided on this one. I couldn't be happier. Easy to use. Does a great job. Materials seem to be high quality. The basket is a flexible plastic which should make all those tiny pieces less prone to breakage. The bowl is a nice, heavy plastic with rubber feet to help it stay put. Some people have complained that the spinning mechanism (the plunger) is hard to work and/or doesn't spin the basket fast enough. It works fine for me. You do have to sort of "feel" the rhythm of the thing to get top speed out of it. Even though I bought this to dry veggies for salad, it was a bit pricey just for that so I decided to try it on other items as well. It works great on drying shrimp and other "meaty" items that I am stir frying. I have put as much as 1.5 pounds of thawed, frozen shrimp in the spinner and it did a good job. The whole thing wobbled a bit but I was, after all, using it for something other than what it was intended for. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and expect to have this thing around for a long time.

Like not love
I have been purchasing many salad spinners to find something similar to the pampered chef salad spinner that (after trying all the others) was the best and should not have even tried buying others. This spinner gets a good review because of the size. You can easily fit two heads of iceberg lettuce or three heads of romaine inside it. The push top is janky and gets stuck often and it’s very annoying. The top does not separate so it makes cleaning hard and honestly I feel like mold will collect between the two top parts that don’t disconnect, and I’ve only had the spinner for a few weeks now and I’m worried about that. It stays on the counter when spinning so that’s good. Again, the size is the best feature of this salad spinner but I would not buy it again.Literally the night after I wrote this review it stopped working (Ive had it about 3-4 weeks with moderate use). The push handle gets stuck and will not spin any of the lettuce. Went from 3 stars to 1.Addendum two I talked to customer service and they are sending me a new lid and said this is an isolated event. I will keep you posted.
