THE Naked BEE - 2.5 Oz Vitamin C Facial Moisturizer SPF 30 -Orange Blossom

I love this stuff!!!!! Favorite face cream w spf. Has a nice smell

I've struggled with serious acne since I was about 11 years old and tried every remedy under the sun, including Accutane, antibiotics and OTCs. I've also tried every lotion/balm/oil/mist/cream/etc. from super expensive to organic to cheap drugstore and nothing has ever made me happy. I even started using things like vaseline, vitamin e oil, pomegranate oil, body lotion, hand lotion. Nothing works. Now that I'm 32, here's what I struggle with and use: Acne Rosacea: metronidazole cream every morning underneath moisturizer Wrinkles: Retin-A cream every night Melasma: Murad Hydroquinone gel every night My skin is crazy in that it is both very oily/shiny, yet dry and flaky. I wanted to find a moisturizer with healthy ingredients and SPF that would provide a lot of moisture and fight flakiness, yet not cause me to break out. I also wanted something that I could wear to work everyday (I sit in front of a computer all day) but also wear on the weekends when I spend a lot of time in the Utah sun. I always struggle on the weekends when I need to use a moisturize but also need to put on water resistant SPF 50, which makes my skin flaky even though I bought the organic, moisturizing facial kind. I think this is the PERFECT answer to my requirements! I am still in a bit of a shocked state that I've finally found a solution. This lotion is completely moisturizing and I have almost zero flakys, except at the corner of my mouth which is typical with Retin-A. The moisture lasts all day long, even in the dry, Utah air. My makeup goes on over it very creamily and smooth. And I love that is has such a high SPF. On the weekends when I'm going on outdoor adventures, I can put this on with a little powder and know that my skin is protected for a bit, until we get up in the mountains, sweating and I can throw on some water resistant SPF 50, but don't have to worry that the high SPF will dry my skin out. If Naked Bee ever makes this exact same moisturizer unscented, then I will switch to that because I don't like scents and this one has a pretty strong orange scent but I don't even notice it now.

60 yr old either dry sensitive skin, this moisturizer truly helps. Scent is delicious and exactly like orange blossoms. Scent fades away after about 30 minutes. Face moisturizer works very well and provides long lasting spf. Works excellently under makeup, just give it 5 min to really absorb/set before applying makeup. Not shiny or oily looking on its own. Does not seem to leave any white looking, tone lightening type shade either. Curiously, it seems to have improved appearance of my lips and helps keep them moist. Did not enlarge my pores. Have seen it sold better price at Hallmark Stores, but always sells out fast. Glad I can get it through Amazon, don't mind paying a little more. Lasts me 4 months using daily. Worth it.

This moisturizer is a delight! The orange smell plus the consistency of the cream which the skin quickly absorbs plus the fact that he has SPF30. IT'S PERFECT! And a little bit goes a long way.Naked Bee

This product really helps my skin feel soft and smooth. I recently found other naked bee products and decided to try this. The only thing I’m kind of iffy about is the smell being so strong. It smells nice but can be a little overwhelming if you don’t like the scent. The scent smells like orange spiced tea if I could compare it to anything. If that isn’t your “cup of tea” I think you won’t like the smell of the lotion. I like the actual product though and definitely recommend it for a light weight facial moisturizer. Another plus is it is also SPF 30 which is good to prevent too much sun exposure.

My complexion has improved. I have rosacea and sun damage. I have used this facial moisturizer morning and night for a couple of months. I have noticed improvement in my skin. Must be the vitamin C. It is my go to facial moisturizer a.m. under makeup and p.m. after makeup removal. The honey orange blossom scent is heavenly. I use several Naked Bee products, body lotion, body butter, lip balm--all excellent. However, this facial moisturizer has dramatically improved my complexion.UPDATE: During the winter I tried another night moisturizer. It didn't work as well and felt greasy and the overall appearance of my skin deteriorated. Went back to the Naked Bee Vitimin C as reviewed above. I won't stray again. This stuff is great. I love the scent, so pleasant and fresh. The secret ingredient must be the Vitamin C--it helps my "aging" skin keep from flaking in the winter weather and helps hide and treat sun damaged facial skin I incurred in my frivolous tan obsessed youth. Breakouts and the hard white bumps are improved with the NB product. NB will serve as a sun protection asset during the coming warm weather/sunshine season with SPF content. During the day I wear it under a CC cream I use as foundation. The CC cream is compatible with the Naked Bee Vitamin C formula that provides a nice base for the CC cream and gives my face a smooth appearance lasting all day.

This facecream is perfect. It not only feels light and smooth, but has sunscreen in it as well. If that isn't enough, it also has a wonderful scent. It is non-irritating and keeps my skin smooth and moist. Even better, the price is totally affordable. I am a fan!

I am OK with the smell, although I must add that the other products like the hand lotion and especially the thick body cream smell much more like the honey and orange blossom they are supposed to smell like. I am thinking that all the added ingredients like plant botanicals, anti-oxidents and wrinkle reducer, may have changed the smell profile a little. It still smells like orange and honey but not as much as the other products, The added honey is hygroscopic, that is, it attracts and holds water which if of course the best moisturizing effect. The hyaluronic acid can be a problem for some people and it did cause a bit of a sting and slight rash for me in some other products I've tried, but it didn't do that with this cream. Paraben and PABA free is a good thing plus it does not contain propylene glycol (antifreeze!) or mineral oil that can be greasy and clog pores. The best thing about this is that it does not just sit on top of my face like most other products. It absorbs very quickly and is not at all greasy, and I can apply makeup almost immediately after putting this on. The added SPF is a big plus. I will be ordering this again.
