The box was really dented, but the product inside was actually fine! Works perfectly!

The product is light and very bright. Takes 3 AAA batteries. The only reason I can’t give this a 5 star rating is because it came smudged. I tried wiping it using windex and other products but the smudges are inside of the plastic so it is unable to be wiped away. I was disappointed to see this. It does not block the words completely but it does blur them and make it a little hard to see.

Honestly a bit small but helps SOOOOOOO much when reading in the dark!!

Got these for my wife to read at night. This is straight out of the box so scratched up it's hard to even see through it. Not happy.

I read from my phone, tablet, computer like the rest of you reading this but every once in awhile I pick up a book and I want to read in bed and I love my booklight. There is no substitute. I have had every device. This is the one I love. It is lightweight, it is the proper amount of light, it will not disturb a partner and if the wifi goes off on an airplane I still have my book to read! (I always take this with me when I travel in addition to use at home). The two pack is great because you can put one in your travel bag; put batteries alongside for when you travel, not in booklight so they don't corode if you don't travel much.

They both came scratched up already, out of the package and protective cellophane, like they had been held down and rubbed across an old, metal surface. The battery pack was a struggle to get the batteries in, at least for me, it wasn't until I forced the third battery in by slamming it that they all fit (I didn't break anything though, luckily).
