Careful buying used from Warehouse
I purchased one of these used from the warehouse in "Very Good" condition. description indicated damage to the packaging. When I received it, there was no battery or cable. I received the charger, and the wall wart, and that's it. Apparently, somebody purchased it, took out the battery and cable, and returned it. Amazon didn't verify that all of the contents were there, and resold it.Without the battery, it's useless. I did work with CS to get it taken care of, and purchased just the battery elsewhere. The product works great, as long as you get all of the pieces.

The revolution will not be televised
The future is here. I have waited years for this product! These fit and install easily in les paul style guitars or any guitar/bass where the control cavity is large enough and/or doesnt have a pickup selector switch inside. push/pull pots may also inhibit installation, as a decent amount of clearance is needed.Ive installed 5 of these so far and my only complaint would be that i cant install them in everything. At least not without serious modification/routing.Based on my experience so far, these fit with ease and room to spare in the following guitars: ESP LTD ec1000 models, ESP (japan) eclipse, Gibson Les Paul Studio. They also fit in ESP LTD ec401, but the model i have (2013 ec401fm, china) has a smaller control cavity than the others and was a really tight fit. I had to make a stencil for that one, the others had enough space to eyeball. The clear plastic packaging was perfect for creating a stencil, which you can see in one of the photos

Very good, minor issues, still worth it.
You’ll need to solder 3 wires and drill 1/2 inch hole in the plastic plate to install. A bit tight fit in LTD SH-7 but it worked after I rotated a switch.Immediately revived guitar, Fluence pickups eat 9v batteries faster than EMG.1 star off because of dated usb port. Come on, it’s almost 2025, it should be usb-c. And because the pcb is uncovered facing cavity it can short out on graphite paint or tall pots. Fixed with some tape, but would be nice if it was somehow covered.Other than that it works great, no complaints.

Good-bye batteries!
I am busy converting the second active bass to this. Long lasting charge (supposedly 120h, haven't tested), no more guessing on battery levels and randomly swapping in and out "to be safe". Just plug it into micro USB and charge until green. Note: installation requires some soldering, I had a guitar tech do it to have a clean setup.

If you use active pickups... you need this.
I've got two guitars with Fishman Fluence pickups on them. I hate having to swap 9v batteries. I bought these because it was rechargeable and boasts up to 200hrs of battery life, which blows away 9 volt batteries. The install wasn't difficult, but if you have no experience with a soldering iron or active pickups it could be tricky. In use, they're exactly as advertised. I've charged up both guitars and haven't had to charge them since... granted I'm not playing hours and hours every day but I've still put plenty of hours in. I don't know about wiring for non-Fishman pickups, but I'm assuming that these will feed power to any active pickups that use a 9v power supply. VERY highly recommend!

Fishman is a great company.
No more 9v batteries needed. There is not much else to say because it does what it is supposed to do. Power my pickups and replace the need for swapping batteries.

Measure your cavity first
Works well and it's good to not have to worry about 9v batteries, but pretty expensive for what it is***edit 10/24/2020***A year later and this thing barely holds a charge. It goes dead pretty quickly now. For the price, this sucks hard.

Greatest thing since the invention of the electric guitar !
I use this guitar about 1 hour a day and every 9-10 hours of use the 9V battery (Duracell Alkaline) must be replaced. I had to buy 9V batteries that are expensive and polluting. I installed this Fishman Rechargeable Battery system on a Fernandes guitar equipped with a Sustainer (FSK-401) that drain some current. The Fishman's instructions are clear, but I had to use the electronic diagram of the Fernandes Sustainer to be sure not to damage the electronics. Now I recharge the Fishman battery system one time a week using the included USB cable and charger (5V) in about 1h30. The steady voltage of the Fishman battery system make guitar sound more stable than before. Recommended for guitars and basses with active electronic circuit. There are also kits for Stratocaster and Les Paul guitars, which are even easier to install.Probably the greatest thing since the invention of the electric guitar !

Works great, and easy to install.
Bought this battery pack with a set of classic humbuckers and the installation was very easy. Would buy again.
