I had to do alot of research before buying this item but everything works perfectly I am very happy with the results of the item

The product I bought was sold by Classic Bulb Inc and the product cost $75. When I hit the review product in my orders, the review gets posted to this identical appearing product sold by Electric Depot for $200 so I don't know what that's about. Either way, this is a strange product to review. I have mixed feelings about the product I bought from Classic Bulb Inc. Prompt delivery. No hassle. Only one complaint. I'm quite certain the bulb was not a OSRAM brand bulb. It did not have the company markings that the bulb it replaced had. It appeared to be a generic version. That said, it did come pre built into the casing unit which was a pleasant surprise as the picture shows just the bulb, and most bulb/casing units online cost double what this costs. It was exactly the attempt to save money over the more expensive bulb-in-casing products that I was buying the bulb alone and was going to try to do the assembly myself. So although I'm a fan of honest advertising (clear descriptions and photos that the match the product being sold) I probably came out even on this and all in all I'm happy. The bulb is generic, but the casing was free. Altogether it only cost $75 which is probably a fair price for a generic bulb in case. It was a breeze to put into my BenQ w 1070, and the unit works great. Forgot how bright and clear the image was before the 4000 hours of use that blew up my previous bulb.

This lamp did not work well. Total waist of cash. My project is not bright. Hardly can see image. Big regret.

The item was a perfect replacement for the blown bulb that came with my BenQ W1070. Obviously you have take apart the bulb housing but it was pretty easy for me just keep track of all those really small screws. I actually lost the screw that attached the bulb housing to the projector but was able to replace it with a computer screw that I had laying around.

The lamp appears to be an original in every way.... There is one flaw however. There is a small ridge on one side of the bulb that is supposed to fit into a notch in the metal plate that holds the bulb In place... Unfortunately, the ridge in the bulb is trapzoid shaped, and the notch is rectangular, like the original bulb. It is impossible to replace the bulb with this one without modifying the housing. I would be happy to work with the seller to find a solution, however at this point, I will have to return it and find a different bulb that has the correct ridge.I have a Benq W1080st with and the original housing.

I thought this was advertised as lamp w/o housing so I took the time to take apart the old housing and remove the bulb but when I received the new one it included the housing so all i had to do was pop it back in the projector took 2 minutes and done!

I don't think this bulb is an original bulb. Quality doesn't match the original but it doesn't feel or look too inferior. I took a couple pictures to compare the 2. I really didn't want to spend the 200+ to get another bulb and housing like other sellers( including benq) offer. My original bulb has about 500 hours on it and I wanted to plan ahead for the eventual day it bursts/dims out/ goes out. I purchased this for my benq ht1075 and after putting the bulb in the casing and starting up my projector I noticed that it does take a little longer to lighten up and that scared me originally. At first, I thought it was a dull bulb but so far it runs similar in brightness to my bulb that has 500 hours on it. The bulb only takes 10 or 15 seconds longer so it's not a huge deal at all. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the purchase, especially with being at less than a quarter of the price. I will update my review if I have an issue. Original on the left and the new one to the right.

Exact bulb that was in the unit at purchase. Works great!

The bulb arrived very fast, 2 days to the door. I should have planned ahead the original bulb had 5400 hours on it then exploded leaving me with out my tv for 2 days :( The new bulb is brighter than the original bulb and I found I had to run it on eco mode as the normal mode seemed to bright and made the colors look over saturated. The bulb was installed into a Benq w1080st projector, very easy job. No need to take the projector down. All in all very happy with the purchase.

Easy to install, Bright, works as the original so far. I have only used this lamp for a few weeks so time will tell but so far it seems as good as the original lamp.If I have problems down the road I will add that info at the time.

Lampe très facile à installer

I installed this on a Benq W1080ST, fitment was great. My last bulb is into its last leg (3980 lamp hours) and I noticed it got dimmer, so I decided to buy this replacement bulb. After installation the projector was very bright again, I have it running in eco mode and watched a movie. It was doing great but suddenly at the latter part of the movie, the projector turned off and I got a red led lamp warning. I had to reinstall my old bulb, although it's dimmer it was still working for hours.

very good product. I bought it for a replacement of the broken bulb in BenQ projector, it works so well same as original.
