Walker Quiet-Flow SS 22266 Direct Fit Exhaust Muffler 1.5" Inlet (ID) 1.5" Outlet (ID) for INFINITI QX60

I have purchased and installed several of these mufflers for use on small engines (up to 2000 cc). The engines have had one (1) two (2) and four (4) cylinders. The muffler did a very good job of quieting all of them. On each installation I welded shut the drain hole. It is necessary due to the way I am using the device. The muffler is located close to the engine and reaches over 400 degrees F in only about two (2) minutes so condensation is not a problem. Several people have said that these mufflers are not Stainless Steel... they are wrong. These mufflers are made from 409 Stainless which is very magnetic like the whole 400 series of stainless's. It appears that when most people think about Stainless steel they think about alloys in the 300 series where most of them are not magnetic. It should be noted that stainless steel can RUST under the right conditions. This muffler Can Rust under certain conditions also, but even then the corrosion will be orders of magnitude less than plain steel, galvanized steel, or even aluminized steel. The best thing that you can do to reduce corrosion is to locate the muffler close to the engine so it heats up fast and avoid starting the engine and shutting it down before the muffler has become hot enough to drive off all of the moisture which contains acids from the combustion process which will greatly accelerate corrosion (rust).

Used this as a new replacement 1.5" muffler on a repower of a 35hp Briggs Vanguard engine. So far a very economical replacement and a lot quieter than stock one from Briggs and Stratton at 75% savings over OEM. Nice snug fir onto a 1.5" exhaust pipe inlet and outlet. Hopefully will last as this engine produces enough heat to turn the stainless muffler a rainbow color instantly at full throttle. Probably a 25% reduction in decibels over stock muffler. Have bought 2 and am very pleased so far.

Good sound and material. It does great for my mf135 tractor

The muffler is very high quality, well built and most of all , it quiets a 350 Honda 4 wheeler. The 4 trax has little room for a muffler like this but it worked very compact install. The air intake of the carb is louder than the exaust. Will get another when or if needed. Thanks Walker. Ron

I bought this muffler for use as a secondary muffler for my Generac 5735 GP17500E 26,250 Watt 992cc OHV Portable Gas Powered Generator With Electric Start . The muffler does it's job of quieting down the Generac, wonderfully. The generator has a two cylinder, 992-cc, 30hp motor on it that was loud both in exhaust and air cooling induction fan noise. The muffler cuts exhaust noise to almost nothing. The only thing that isn't clear to me, is which end of the muffler is intended as the exit port for the muffler. I use the centered port as the inlet and the offset port as the outlet. That seems to work well.

Was looking for the biggest muffler I could find with a 1.5" inlet to replace my rusted in half, rattling, factory exhaust. It's not super quiet but a hell of a lot better than the old one. I also added a $9 defuser at the end to quiet it slightly more. I saved $5 by purchasing from Amazon warehouse

Adapted this small compact in size muffler On my 16hp preditor golf cart motor And it greatly reduced exhaust noise level! Good quaulity and light weight. I simply acquired a ehaust extension tube and reducer , clamped it together and i enjoy My quite rides.

The intake and outlet are small you will need to buy incersers if your going to use it on a car, it was a bit costly for me as i do not have a shop near by that has the equipment to make the proper connections, i have 2 inch on the car, that being said it is a very quiet mufler even more so than the larger oen that i replaced, note,,,,, this can not be expanded the in and ouypt may streach a bit but stainless does not want to expand with out cracking so gupet the adapters from amazon and weld them on , works better and cheeper than a mufler shop

I was getting tired of being loud when revving high and manually shifting, neighbors and police getting angry, put this badboy on and it sounds great! Quiet but not too stock sounding, revving up to 4k rpm and I can hear my intake more than the exhaust, but its a really good sound, I still enjoy revving high with this without making everyone angry. I guess I am getting older too haha. Overall best bang for buck here!

Good size to add to my Yamaha 7200 generator. It reduces noise but not alot. It now sounds like a quad running.
