OSTENT 2200 mAh Battery Replacement for Sony PSP 1000

I pulled out my old PSP and tried charging it, but nothing was happening. I opened up the battery bay and saw a swollen battery. Ordered this as a replacement to the official batter and it came fully charged. It worked right out of the box. It's the same exact size as the original. It was easy to install and worked like a charm. Normally when I get a third party battery, I'm often disappointed, but this one is working better than the original did. Highly recommend!

I have ZERO complaints besides a minor setback. Everything in this product description is 100% accurate. The weight, life battery fitment and quality are ALL spot on. My battery weighed 33.6g. Battery life is about 4.5-5 hours on max brightness (3rd setting after jailbreak) and a max CPU overclock while gaming and loading 512gb worth of games. Battery is spot on and worth EVERY penny of what they are charging. Very nice quality product. The only gripe I have about this battery is that the maximum battery percentage after a charge is 89%. I don't know if it's a battery issue or PSP issue so I won't be docking any stars off the product. Battery life is phenomenal either way. Just note, this product will probably never display 100% charge since 89% seems to be its max charge for some reason. Thanks.

I have the original PSP and the battery had started to swell. I bought this battery and after a few charge cycles, it now lasts longer than the original battery had lasted. This battery fits without any issues. I am very happy with the performance of this battery.

great battery. larger than the original PSP battery. now i can play LocoRoco and Patapon agian.

Its working, I've yet to see how much longer the higher capacity battery lasts, but so far its working fine. I initially had problems with getting it to work/recognized. To fix it, I had to power on the PSP without the battery and then shove it in while it was on, left it charging over night, was OK afterwards. There is a bit of a odd quirk to it, the PSP charging LED will turn off even when the battery isn't completely full, but if you check under System Settings>Battery Information, you will see that the battery is still charging even if the battery status says "Charge Complete"

Good batteries, the new ones seem to be of high quality. I did get a dud, but it was a warehouse item that was "used - like new" but had no charge and wasn't recognizing in my PSP1000. 2nd battery worked like a charm, and subsequent new ones have all been good

I had an extended PSP battery before, but I had to replace it since it started to warp. Glad that I found this replacement and for such a good price. I hope that it is durable and lasts as long as my previous extended battery as I had my old one for close to 10 years. It helps that I have an external charger as well to charge one battery while I can charge the other in the unit itself. Like others have stated in their reviews, looks like the highest the battery will charge to a capacity of 89%. I will gauge the actual battery life once I receive my new extended battery cover and go from there. Update: In order to get the battery to 100%, I charged the battery while in the PSP unit. After about an hour it had completely charged. I checked the battery information from the PSP menu and saw that it was now at 100% charge.

Nothing to say, this is the best battery you can buy for your psp.

Fantastic replacement battery for PSP 1000 model. I’ve managed to get 5-6 hours battery life on a full charge - very impressive performance. This is whilst playing intensive games like Kingdom Hearts + God of War from UMD disc too. I can imagine downloaded games make the battery last even longer! Worth the £12.50 I paid for keeping an old PSP going!

I have no way of testing if it's really 2200mAh as the title says but this battery has totally revived my PSP. The original Sony battery had swollen and was no longer working on my PSP. After putting this in I am able to play the PSP for a few hours with no issues. Good product.

Considerando che è arrivata carica a metà ho avuto modo di usarla per 2-3 ore e c’era ancora un po di carica, testerò meglio la durata complessiva una volta sotto carica. Si fatta bene alla Psp e Lo sportello di chiude senza troppi problemi.

5h40 d'autonomie luminosité au max sur ma PSP 1000. Taille impeccable, le couvercle tient bien. Il ne me semble pas possible de la transformer en Pandora. À voir ce que ça donnera sur la durée.
