Adhesive pad is useless.
The principal of this design is good and the positioning capability too. But the adhesive material is rubbish - some cost cutting going on here. I tried to adhere it to a (smooth) surface in the car (that was properly cleaned and dried) and it fell off in the first day.I then used a proper 3M adhesive pad from my go-pro set and now it is sticking (so far).I suggest caution on these products - I have also had the SP CONNECT phone connector adhesive pad fail, causing expensive Android phone to take a dive off my motorbike at 50mph, wrecking it...
