Perfect for holding twenty 1 oz generic silver bars. Works as intended. Good for storing your silver in an airtight container to reduce tarnishing. Very easy to use and protects the silver nicely.

Bars fit, but the inside walls pinch in quite a bit. if you squeeze the ends to fit the bars in then the firm grip can possibly be a plus actually: the wont rattle or even fall into your hand when upturned without the added effort, which is not absurd. All in all this might be better for some people than the usual fit I had been expecting, and the pinch allows me to fill them vertically just as tidy as normal use would have been. They certainly work and I'm happy but not quite 5 stars since this didn't satisfy my lower priority desire to match storage while organizing.

Met expectations

These are genuine CoinSafe tubes and fit the Sunshine Mint silver bars perfectly. Personally, I think this is a much more convenient and compact storage solution than leaving bars in the various mint 'sheets' that they typically ship in. In addition, the bars tend to stay in better condition. I put 20 bars in each tube with a small piece of foam to keep them from rattling around. You could fit 22-23 bars if you want to; but that makes it harder to keep track of how much you have (in my personal opinion). I highly recommend these containers if you're storing standard sized 1 oz silver bars.
