MAGICRIG Universal Adjustable Side Wooden Handle Grip for A7RIII A7III BMPCC 4K BMPCC 6K Camera Cage

The media could not be loaded.  I like to actually use my products before leaving reviews and I’ve done several shoots using this handle. I’m very pleased with the quality and versatility for the price. The handle can be switched to the left or right sides and the mounting height is adjustable. The ergonomics are great for my hands. For reference, I wear size L gloves. There are mounting screws, a cold shoe mount and an included Allen key on the top. The bottom has cut outs for camera straps. The wood is darker than the product photos show but I actually prefer that. Highly recommended if you’re on a budget.

The nato clamp on this handle opens wide enough to allow tilting the handle into place. Might not seem like a big feature, but this allows me to attach the handle onto a nato rail tightly mounted without the ability to slide the clamp on from the end. Also this handle has more mounting options on the top!

This wood handle is excellent! Based on its photos online, I thought it might be hideous, but now that I own it, it doesn’t bother me at all. I paired it with the Smallrig M50 cage (version 2) that has a NATO rail. It adjusted and works great. The quick release makes it a no-brained to use or remove. My only dislike is the large open slot that runs vertically so that it can be height adjusted. This makes it uncomfortable to hold and I’m sure all similar handles have the same issue. My solution (which works great) was to cut a piece of wetsuit-like rubber to plug the hole on the grip sides. Of course it will have to be easily removed were I to need to screw-adjust the horizontal NATO adapter within the handle, but I doubt I’ll ever move it as the whole handle slides on the cage itself. At 1/2 of the cost of the similar product I’m at least 200% satisfied with this one!

I love the finish on the wood and the stability when it's attached very solid, comfortable I'm a comfortable to handle for hours on end.

I bought this handle to have more stabilization during video. It gives me an extra handle now so I can make my videos more stable. I really like it and can see how it comes in handy. The extra spot on top of the handle also allows me to add another device, like a light or mic for my A7III setup.

This was a great investment for my Sony Mirrorless camera. It has full functionality for holding and stabilizing the camera, while also mounting a field monitor or light.I hesitated a bit because of the price. After heavy consideration, I finally decided to take the plunge. As a result, I am absolutely pleased with the investment. The handle grip is stylish, fully functional and adds another level of value to my rig.I would highly recommend.

I originally tried to get a cheaper hand unit but it kept arriving broken.Finally bit the bullet and upgraded to this unit! I like that it can be used on either the left or right hand. The Allen wrench also fits snug within the unit for easy access.It’s also fully mountable, so you can easily add monitors and other accessories.Overall it’s worth the price tag! The color is dope as well!

Great price on this wooden handle compared to others, it’s solid and does the job. The color was very red in comparison to my other wood handed tools. Also it wasn’t comfortable in the hand to use but still it’s a solid and well made.

Quite impressed of overall craftsmanship! Perhaps will add an update after some use IF the product is still around.
