Solid Plasma Cutter
This thing does an amazing cut, wow. I am a hobby/garage welder and have been using a Lotos LT3500 plasma cutter for a few years. It works decent but is 120V and doesnt cut much thickness. Sheet metal cuts nice and quick.. I have been using the Lotos on a 30A RV outlet and it sometimes pops the breaker. I needed something better. Finally I got something better. I started with the AirForce 40i on 240V, cutting through some 1/2 steel and it goes right through, cleanly, with a narrow cut. What a nice improvement. The ground cable and clamp are surprisingly cheap. Not a flexible cable. This is my only gripe. The machine works really nice.

Glad I waited
Have been wanting a plasma cutter for a long time from one of the big 3. (Miller,Lincoln,Hobart) Their prices have been crazy for a person such as myself that welds as a hobby. Now I have an excellent Plasma cutter from a manufacturer I trust and that will back their product. I'm a firm believer in "Get what you pay for"

Overall impressed, cuts great and fast! Have cut up to 7/8 with zero issues... but I’m really not impressed with the ground clamp wire. It’s poly coated vs rubber, it looks cheap and it wants to keep a coiled up shape. Even my previous plasma which was a cheap knock off had a better ground cable. Update- 3 years later still happy with this purchase. Has yet to fail me and use very often. Still not happy with ground cable, but have yet to see if I can replace it. Make sure to stock some of the replacement tips as most local stores don’t carry them but only for the smaller models.
