VAIO has been working perfectly since it left Sony, even though the shape of the laptop hasn't changed much. I use it in college. I bought this computer more because of its appearance and unique brand. But there are some disadvantages: the 4K version of the battery is not durable, and the speaker of this computer is in a mess, It can't be worse.

The keyboard has gone dead so many times, I have become the "Reboot King." The mouse pad buttons are so small and awkward, I bought an independent mouse. If you do spreadsheet work like me, don't buy this clunker with its clumsy mouse and arrow keys.VAIO has lost its way. In the name of being small and sleek, the designers have sacrificed the qualities which made the VAIO appealing to begin with.UPDATE: My VAIO crashed during a large file copy operation. It will not reboot. There is virtually no support for dealing with this problem. Lots or work (and perhaps expense) ahead to figure this problem out. When it comes to dealing with professional database work, this computer is not up to the task.

This thing is awesome. Love the construction, ports, speed, engine. All biz and bad a@#.

I was using an, HP Spectre for the last few years, but it was lagging and there was software I couldn't use. I decided to try, VAIO again, because I love my old VAIO.This unit packs a lot of power and I can go through raw photos way faster than my HP. The screen is very sharp and makes editing easy. It's very light and I carry it in my backpack and it's hardly noticeable. I also love how the screen tilts the unit to make it easier to use and allows it to vent.The battery is a big downfall, I mainly have it plugged in but I wouldn't trust it on its own for too long because it eats that battery. The mouse pad should have been bigger I still search for it with my fingers. The speakers are meh at best, but it has a headphone jack along with all sorts of other ports!

Computer is decent but VAIO Customer Service is absolutely horrible and terrible and the worst ever. They do not believe a single thing a customer says with an issue even with that issues is clearly proven as they requested via screen shots and pictures of the issues! They also argue with the customer as well!

I decided to upgrade my old Vaio and replace her with this gorgeous piece of work. Sony might be a bit on the pricey side, but they make the Vaio worth every dime. Thank you!

i Vaio years ago I used it for 8 years it was great ,. I decided to replace and changed the brand. I managed to use the other brand for 3 years. I only had problems with the operating system. now i'm returning to Vaio i'm happy.

The unit came with problems of not being able to keep running for more the 5 minutes after adding user data to it. I had to call Amazon to get the unit replaced. Amazon then agreed that the unit came defective and is sending out a replacement. If the next unit runs as expected it will be a great PC. Lightweight, runs very fast. The only other complaint would be the lack of CD/DVD drive in the unit.But, that's my opinion.
