Relatively easy to put on and take off, did a good job in mild snow
I am quite happy with this product. I used it for the first time today. As is the case with so many vehicles today, my owner's manual says not to use chains on my vehicle. In a situation where snow chains are legally required, this is an approved alternate traction device in my state (Nevada). Today I drove up Mount Charleston, where chains were required after two days and nights of snow. The socks were straightforward to put on. This was my first time putting them on, and it took around 10 minutes for the pair, being extra careful. I'm sure I will be able to install them in around 5 minutes once I've had some practice. Removing them took less than 30 seconds. I examined them closely after removing them, and they were in like-new condition. I drove them in light snow, and then drove around a campground with light snow covering a narrow, rutted dirt road with inclines and declines. I did each part with and without the socks. The traction was definitely better with the socks. They're not foolproof, of course. They won't get you through much heavier snow, or up too-steep hills, but they are definitely worth having in your vehicle for the kind of conditions you'll encounter most of the time.

Good Deal
I have tested them and they work pretty good not as aggressive as cables or chains but for use on normal streets they are very good. Putting them on is a snap and taking them off is even faster. I do like them and time will tell if I end up loving them.

If you need this for more than a long driveway, buy something else!
What I didn't like was it didn't work for more than two minutes, whIch is useless! I had to beg someone to hoist my tire up and cut the darn thing off before my axle or brake line got damaged! So I essentially had to pay them to ruin my $70 product! Then I had to buy cables for 90!!!! And this is best snow year in decades and I have yet to ski! Hopefully the cables will work.... these snow sleeves sure didn't!

Four Stars
Haven't had to use them yet, but they seem to be as advertised.
