Oh how I love these Spanx! They are my favorite for under dresses or pants. They go up to my bra-line, so there's no "line" that shows through your clothes, they smooth out the ripples along my midriff and thighs, but keep my behind accentuated so it doesn't look flat. Best of all, I don't feel like I'm being suffocated when I wear them like I do in other brands. I can sit, eat, walk around and dance without them riding up, sliding down or cutting into me. I also like that if they fall a little lower that the dress I'm wearing, I can pull up the legs by an inch or 2 so they don't show, and they still sit smoothly without wrinkling. For perspective on sizing, I'm 5'5", 130 lbs and typically wear a size 4. I bought a Medium and a Small with the intention of returning one, but I ended up keeping both. They both fit, but I found the Medium more comfortable for what I wanted at the time, but I feel like the small is a good backup and depending on what I'm wearing in the future, I may want a tighter fit.

I bought the medium, I'm 140lbs, and was very skeptical as to if it would fit, and when it arrived it looked like a small shrunken piece of material. However, when I did try it on, it fit like a glove. It holds everything in with no discomfort. I personally don't experience any rolling either. There is a balloon/latex kind of smell to the material, even after giving it a quick wash. But that's not a major issue since it's going under your going out clothes. My only complaint is the fight to pull it up and down your legs. But that resistance tends to get better once you get to your upper thigh. Also, if you're looking for a "girdle" because of some post abdominal procedure, I would recommend you either have someone to help you in/out of this or look for a simpler one.

Miracle workers, honestly. My only complaint is that the top band, even with the elastic for friction, rolls up a lot. This is incredibly frustrating, but nothing new in the world of Spanx. You're going to have the same issue with any product like this that doesn't have shoulder straps, or cover your bust as well. The "shorts" are a little long, and can be visible with some styles of dress (I was not able to wear them with a dress that had a leg-slit up the side), but they look and feel great under jeans and dress pants.

When pulling them up and yes they are correct size, a runner appeared. This tells me this pair was a dud because Spanx is typically a great brand!

I noticed a friend of mine who is at least 30 pounds heavier than when we were in our 20's and 30's started wearing closer fitting clothes. I thought it was maybe that she had lost weight. I saw no bulges but she doesn't work out at all, so at that weight with the closer fitting tops I was a bit confused why she started looking better in her clothes. I have put on 10 pounds and had a social event to attend. I wanted to wear a particular dress but doubted how I would look in it with 10 additional pounds in my midsection. So for the heck of it I decided to try spanx. I tried on dress without spanx and then with. WHAT a difference! And then I realized... my friend is wearing SPANX! If you have a bit of extra weight and are not toned I would suggest the higher top and lower legs like I got. It really smoothes out the entire shape. I am certain this is the style my friend is wearing. I'll be comparing notes soon! I also found them very comfortable. A small struggle to put on but that's why it works. Once on, extremely comfortable. Feels good actually. The longest I've worn it has been 8 hours. I think that's as long as I'll find comfortable. Coming up on the 7th hour I was starting to notice I was wearing it. But hey - 8 hours is a long time and a great return on investment. (Of note - I don't wear this daily)

Thought I was happy, until I tried to make use of product. It fit and held in the postpartum mom-pouch I have after having my 4th child. I’m about 6 mos postpartum. 5’5” 140ish lbs (not an especially large person). I bought these shaper shorts in a size medium. I wore these to feel comfortable in a dress at a bridal shower. After 3 hours I went to use the bathroom, and as I tried to pull these spanx shorts down, they instantly ripped straight through on both sides. I have very short, smooth fingernails. No sharp edges and barely any nail to speak of. At the price point, I would’ve believed this product should be durable enough for a person to remove them without them breaking so easily. If these were cheap tights from a discount store I’d expect it. But a pair of spanx at $40? That’s something I’d expect to last and not be so quickly (and strangely) damaged. Returning for a refund and hoping to find higher quality shapewear for the upcoming events I am attending. Hoping this review benefits the quality control on this item so others won’t run into this issue. :)

I really wanted to love this, since I've heard so much about Spanx! Unfortunately, the finishing on it was not great, as you can see from the pictures. There's were loose threads everywhere, and a run in the fabric(!!!), which is so, so critical for a product designed to stretch and exert pressure like this! Makes me wonder if I got an old or returned product??? I do have to say that the fabric itself felt quite nice and soft. No itchy or stiff fabrics, and the fit was spot on for me.

Mia moglie ha acquistato il prodotto sull'onda delle ottime recensioni lette in passato e allettata dall'area dedicata in Rinascente a Milano. In realtà, se confrontata con guaine anche a più buon mercato come quella di Pompea non vede particolari punti a favore: è vero che non ha particolari cuciture, ma è anche vero che non rispetta l'anatomia del corpo (e.g. i pantaloncini tagliano a metà la coscia di una persona di altezza normale come me :( ) e che in generale non è minimamente modellante.

Am Anfang dachte ich: puh. Ob man da überhaupt rein kommt. Aber wenn man den Dreh raus hat und erst mal drin ist dann ist diese shape wear echt nicht schlecht. Macht eine tolle Figur. Es rollt sich zwar tatsächlich oben ein, wenn man sitzt, aber damit kann ich leben. Unter einem Kleid super, wenn es eine Stehparty ist. ;)

très satisfaite du produit! il faut prendre sa taille (moi je fais entre M et L et j'ai choisi M pour plus d'effet gainant). produit agreable qui ne roule pas, il s'enfile rapidement il est assez serré mais l'effet escompté est top! 0 marque egalement au niveau du ventre, cuisse ou hanches.
