I have purchased these multiple times and have not been disappointed. They are very attractive and elegant. Ink flows easily and does not skip. There have been a couple that have been okay, and then after some use have not twisted open. Pulling off the top and reinstalling the cartridge (simply pull out and push back in) and then twist before replacing the top always does the trick. So far, I have used them for wedding guest book, in the pen holder in my office, and to fill out a predictor card at a baby shower. Many guests asked to keep their pens because they were so nice. Again, very classic and elegant.

Got these because I found a similar gold pen and really liked the sleek look. Perfectly good black pen, amazing style. Unfortunately kind of hard to carry since they have no tab and are longer than an average pen, and kind of pointy - but hey, that's the style you want.

My spouse likes this style pen above all others.

I place 5 of these in a gold color Birmingham fire department brass nozzle I converted to a pen holder. Clients have remarked how much they appreciate the "presentation" of the pens in the holder when they are signing the documents I prepare for them. The pens write very smoothly, dark, and are perfect for my needs.
