I bought two of these for bathroom vents that were incorrectly venting into the attic. They do the job, are well made, and even come with mounting hardware. Great price too!

I had to run exhaust from my CO2 laser cabinet to outside the outbuilding it is sitting in. So I used hard pipe and terminated it at a sliding window. I had to build a wood piece to fit perfectly inside the track on the window. I drilled a hole in the board and used this piece as the end cap. Over all, it looks good. It has a metal screen on the inside keeping bigger bugs from being able to fly in. It has been sitting outside for almost a year now. Not in direct weather. The finish has held up. So I am happy with that so far. Issue is that the piece is very flimsy and cheap feeling. Its thin. Easily bends when working with it. The back flange to attach the duct work it is very skinny. I had a hard time getting my duck work on it, and sealing it up with foil tape. I wish that they had made the flange a 1/2" longer, and maybe overall a bit thicker to add to the sturdiness of the piece.

Replaced my plastic sunburned vent covers with this and it's beautiful and gave me additional airflow. Been up 6 months without issues, still shiny. Easy to install with provided hardware or your own SS hardware if you want something different.

I used this for my ceiling vents in the basement. Could have a bit larger diameter on the outside, but it's not too bad. Fits the inside of a duct perfectly. The sheet metal is not very thick, and bends rather easilty in hands, when pressed, but nobody will be walking on it, so it's fine. Just need to be a bit careful when installing. It's very light, so the little screws they added should be fine - I just attached it to the drywall with them. Not sure why they give you a pair of white gloves with this thing - maybe some kind of early-run promotion. Well, I don't care about the gloves, but hope they will keep the quality of the product as it is now. In general, good product, not expensive at all, installation is very easy, and works as expected.

I used two of these SDTC Tech 4 Inch Round Soffit Air Vent to move 4" vents from the wall outside a laundry area and bathroom to the soffit of a "bump out" adjacent to those rooms, and they fit the bill. Since this vent doesn't include a damper, I added an ALDES 4 Inch Round Spring Loaded Backdraft Damper to the elbow installed into each vent, and am happy with the result. Looks good, very sturdy.

It was difficult to find a suitable cover for the external plumbing vent on our house. Older houses have this feature usually covered by a large ugly perforated metal plate. I was able to scribe the new stone and fit this vent cover which looks much nicer than the old one. See photos. I set the cover in a bead of silicone caulk. The only issue is that the metal is thin and may be easily damaged. That said, this is a soffit vent and if used as intended would not be easily damaged in a soffit.
