I got this for an hastily put together birthday party for my wife. She had to work on her birthday but I was able to sneak and put together a surprise party the next day. She loves animals and Lego type sets. She absolutely loved these, as did the guests who received them as party favors. The instructions are very basic and require attention to detail. That and the very small parts may make these unsuitable for very young children but for 9 and up they were a hit for us!Also the box turns into a display like you wold find in a store so it looked very good sitting on her birthday table.

These are super cute! I got them for my class as prizes and they loved them. However they definitely require an adult to put them together. The instructions are not very clear and I even had trouble putting them together. But they are so super cute after you put them together!

My son is 12 and loves building these mini figures more than Legos right now.Buying them in bulk like this is SO much cheaper than buying in stores/museums/zoos.They're always so cute when they're done and provide hours of entertainment.These are VERY tiny parts so I would not suggest this for young children.They come in a cute little box so it's very easy to wrap and gift.The instructions are definitely for children 10 and up though. Not as step by step as legos but still easy.

I originally purchased these kits for my son's lego themed birthday party. I did not expect the pieces to be so tiny. ** See attached picture for size reference with a Lego brand brick **My 8 yr old required assistance putting his figure together, and my husband stated the instructions were not super clear. The building process was VERY tedious due to the extremely small parts.Would be okay for older kids.

We got this set to add to a 'goodie' bag for my daughter's upcoming birthday gathering. We usually add a few fun things in a bag for the kids that join us and at less than $2 a set this looked like a nice option. The sets are very attractive and the kids enjoyed building them. I kept one for me and found it fun. :-) These are what is known as micro building block, so about 10%-20% the size of the larger name brand ones. Each set was around 100 pieces to build and included a decent number of extra pieces. The finished models are about 2" tall and well detailed for the small size. The directions can be a little tricky as most steps are showing two phases of building and I needed to refer to the box image a couple times to make sure I was on track. That said, if the builder is familiar with Lego, Mega Bloks of any of the other name brand building block sets this should be doable. Out of a group of 5 kids, only one didn't enjoy them and she rarely builds block based models. All in all, this is a fun set to gift or just enjoy.

I ordered this set for my son’s birthday party. There was a variety of kids ages that were invited to the party. I set up a Lego table for the kids who came to the party. Before the party I set the boxes out on a table. The packaging was very nice. But once the kids started to arrive and open the boxes I was astonished at how incredibly small the Lego pieces were. The kids could not put the kits together and got very frustrated. I have several boxes not even opened because the kids couldn’t put them together. Whatever was left over I was going to let the kids take them home but no one wanted the kits!! Highly disappointed with this product!

Needed something fun and cheap for all ages. These worked well. A couple of boxes did not have instructions but they still had fun with them.
