Pre Seasoned All-Round Dutch Oven

Very good pan/pot. Good Weight, Sturdy. Will be just the job in my camp fire. I'll use it for baking bread as a Dutch Oven (a demonstrated method by good old Ray Mears - not with this pan/pot though it's the method I'm referencing and not in anyway an endorsement or use by Ray. I was initially sceptical of the feet on the bottom as i really just wanted one without. But I can see a good reason to have them when standing this directly in a camp fire. Also the price I got it for was very , very good so I got over that pretty quickly :)

This is fantastic. I absolutely love it and my mates were impressed with it when we took it for it first outing. It cooked very nicely and cleaned up well. The Daal we had was brilliant but there wasn’t really enough for four people in my opinion despite it saying in the oven blurb it was suitable for 4. I don’t think it would be big enough to roast a chicken either. My other gripe is the lack of a kink in the handle but I suppose is not a deal breaker

It’s a solid bit of kit,I use it mainly for cooking outside but goes fine in the oven too. Seasoned it about 3 times,never used it for about a month and it sat in the cupboard and didn’t get any rust. Remember to season again after each use and this will last forever.

Nice heavy cast iron oven, but it's clearly not pre-seasoned or done very well as advertised. I washed it down with water and did a good job of drying after, but still it had rust the following day. Only buy this is you're prepared to do your own seasoning once you have it, otherwise it will rust very easily.

I'm so glad I bought this. Perfect and so versatile for my camping trips...cannot wait to use it this weekend 😀

Purchased this to be able to put over a camp fire. Have only used this once to make a sausage casserole but it worked brilliantly, no burning as I had expected especially when you can't view inside easily or know how hot the flame is on a fire, but it was absolutely fine. Really good value for the money.

I like to throw this at the bottom of my komado to make stews, chillis and bunny chow. I leave the lid off to some smoke into the raw meat and then stick the lid on to get the heat into it, albeit usually low and slow. It just sits in the coals and does what it’s supposed to. It cleans up easily and holds the heat well. There’s always plenty to feed 6 with leftovers- I guess this depends on how much everyone eats though!

Nie polecam produktu, pierwsze użycie zgodnie z instrukcją aczkolwiek i tak pokrywką pękła lub byka pęknięta jak już przyszła. Po rozgrzaniu wygląda jak na zdjęciach.

Toller Dutch-Oven. Haben ihn jetzt mehrere Jahre immer wieder gerne und häufig im Einsatz. Einzig das tolle Muster im Deckel ist etwas ‚nervig‘ beim einfetten gegen Flugrost.

Habe bereits 2 Gerichte aus dem Rezept Heft gekocht und man muss ehrlich sagen HAMMER das "Reis Fleisch" lecker. Kann ihn jedem empfehlen. Einfach tolles Produkt. Nur muss man ihn gleich waschen und einölen (steht in der Betriebsanleitung) sonst rostet er. Ist aber bei Gusseisen so. Weitere Gerichte als Versuch sind auch gelungen also von mir her nur 5* sonst macht ihr was falsch. 😂
